mannoman
Tony,Almost enough to make one convert. I said almost. Good song, though.Ted
Kirk
I love the inspired writing of contemporary Christian artists. There's a lot of great music coming out of the churches these days. Cool song. Thanks. Kirk.
marvin
So Tony how does a heathen like you even know this song? If the opinion of someone who DOES go to church every Sunday counts, this is a really good song. Thanks.Marvin
bahoodore
A 'KILLER' Christian song....Killer?????....LOL...
popdude
It's better than calling it a "kick ass" Christian song. :-)
Craig Benfer
Would love to hear a studio version.
Tony Cartmill
I don't know if the studio version would do it justice, unless they packed in the big choir. The chorus could get too repetitive without those multi-layered harmonies.
James
Is a beautiful song. Was surprised to hear that Marvin is a church-goin feller after witnessing his disgusting behavior with some of the EC.Com chicks over on the "Reflections" (I think) thread. BadfingerBarb
For all of you power pop fans out there, check out the song "Goldie's Last Day" by the Christian group PFR. It's a song about the death of a pet dog so I'm not sure what makes it a "Christian" song, but it is fantastic!
mamacote
.....some of you god-fearin'-folk might enjoy a brisk little pop number by FFH called "watching over me".......not bad for a bunch of alter boys.....

aggiesjc
I haven't heard "Letters From War," but I don't listen to radio much. I'll have to keep an ear out for it!

Tony Cartmill
Kathy, Mark has some cool harmonies there. So much Christian pop has a country flavor to it. Is there a reason?
Tony Cartmill
After listening to all the snippets of the Mark Schultz CD, I may order this CD. This guy is a major talent. I wonder from where did he get his talent? "Well I don't know...I just can't think...Could it beeeeeeeeeeee.........SATAN?"Sorry, Church Lady flashback... Carmen Smalley
I only know two Christian bands,Stryper from the 80´s and Evanescence.I prefer not to listen to this sort of bands. In Spain,Evangelists,Methodists,Adventists, etcare like sects! Tony Cartmill
There's a shocker...I'm sure Carmen hisses and pulls her cape over her face when shown a cross also I go for the music and melody first, the words second. Sometimes I cringe if the word Jesus is put into the wrong phrasing in a lyric. It's a hard word to put in a lyric without interrupting the flow and sounding like a southern preacher. "The Lord" works better.
Ann
One of my cousins in NY who shares my love of country music told me about the demise of the last country station up there. She now has to get her country fix via the Internet. As far as Christian music, I like rocking out to the Newsboys.
Dougjack
Barb,PFR is the only xtian band I've ever liked, but I have to admit that I heard their music before I found out they were xtian. The "Goldie's Last Day" LP is great!Jack
Tony Cartmill
DougJack? Religon bigot? Come on! Us guys are supposed to go for the music and melody and musicianship first...Worry about the message later. How else could songs with stupid lyrics like "Good Morning Starshine", "Bette Davis Eyes" and "What I Am" have become hits? Good music, barfable lyrics At least Christian music has a positive message in the lyrics...
