wallytosa Posted August 17, 2006 Share Posted August 17, 2006 Just went to the James Taylor concert last night with Razzy (Paula, my wife), and just had to post somewhere what a great concert this was. As with the Raspberries and Eric last year, JT sounded as good as ever. I swear he gets better with age! He's not promoting any new album...just a small intimate concert with a few thousand close friends. He's such a personable singer. He tells stories about his songs and what they mean to him. It was a great night with someone who's been around as long, or longer than Raspberries. He did many of his hits, both old and newer ones from his last two grammy winning albums. Plus, he threw in a few suprises like "Oh What a Beautiful Morning" from Oklahoma, and an old George Jones tune, "Why Baby Why". JT's voice is as pure as ever, and he has a great back up band and singers. The summer 2006 tour just started, so if he comes to your area, treat yourself and go see him. You won't be disappointed.
