Paul Sidoti
Hey all, it is absolutely freezing cold here in New York City but the thrill of playing on Dick Clark's NYE show is something I won't ever forget. Ever since I was a kid, I would stay up late with my parents and watch the countdown and watch my favorite musical acts perform. The reality that I get to do the very same thing with Taylor Swift is still a shock to me. For years, I've wanted to make the trek to NYC to be in the streets of close to a million people they say to witness the ball drop. As we pulled in last night, we could see the 2009 sign and ball high atop one of the buildings here in Times Square. It's only hours from now that we'll be playing in bone-numbing temperatures.I want to wish everyone a Happy and safe New Year and all the best for 2009. I have much to be thankful for, people and friends here on the message board among them. All the best,Paul

I don't know how people can sing in single digit temps, let alone play guitar, but you guys made it look easy Awesome <- my version of the ball drop

Guest
Thanks for posting Danny... I missed it here in Vegas, and I was thrilled to be able to find your post! Anyone know who was on drums... very animated guy... right behind Taylor and on camera in most shots. His mom was probably really proud!!! Thanks again, really enjoyed this clip! AnniekNY
I felt so bad for our Pauly - it was something like 2 degrees with the wind last night but I'm sure the high of playing in NYC on New Year's Eve was quite the warming experience!!! Great job Paul!!I felt SO HORRIBLE for Taylor standing on stage with the Jonas Brothers - I hope she was able to enjoy the moment without being too uncomfortable that the ex was also there.
