Peachie
Rick Springfield, Loverboy, Eddie Money and Scandal are doing a show in Clearwater in Sept. at Ruth Eckerd Hall. Now I just have to decide between that show and Ringo's All Star Band in July. Oh, what the heck...I may just have to go to both. Both sound like they would be good shows. Bob Allen
Eddie Money...oh dear. The poor thing could never sing...and to see him now...visually it's quite amazing (kind of like not wanting to stare at a bad car wreck but feeling involuntarily compelled to do so). And don't even get me going on Loverboy (the lead singer looks like someone put a bicycle pump up his you-know-what and filled him up good). mellie
I just found out that War and Ted Nugent will be at the Alaska State Fair the last weekend in August. Who wants a 2-day pass? Have any of you heard War perform lately?(Susana - Sawyer Brown will be there too... you'll need a vacation.)

I saw Eddie last summer and he put on a great show. He's still as enthusiastic as ever, and when the lights went out do to a generator problem, he kept on going since he didn't want to disappoint the crowd...Jeff
ira
Bob-I saw Mike Reno of "Loverboy" on that NBC thing "Hit Me Baby One More Time" or something this past summer. It had 70's and 80's groups doing an old and a current song. I couldn't believe it was the same guy who was a 70's Teen Idol type. He didn't sing good. He didn't look good.DOUBLE GYP:1)-Eric originally should've sung "Almost Paradise" in "Footloose"-not Mike Reno. (I remember from Bernie's book why he didn't-the clause-Columbia artists only.)2)-Raspberries should've been on that aforementioned summer show (good exposure) instead of "Tommy Tutone","Toni Basil",Mike Reno" etal...Ira. BeatleJay
I also saw Eddie Money last summer. It was shortly after Raspberries in NY. Compared to, his performance was fairly uninspired. I kept getting this feeling like I was cheating on our guys to go and see someone else.
