Laura
I tried to stay up last night, and watch it on WGN but too much local stuff. Although that wasn't bad, I wanted to see the entertainment. I think I saw Celine, though.

IS-IT REALLY MAKES FOR GRRRRREAT TELEVISION.THANKS BERNIE. -Ira.
susana
Gracias, Bernie. I only managed to turn on the telethon for a few minutes, but if I couldn't catch Billy and company "live", thank goodness it was in time to see Tony Orlando. (Kerry Cole is still going strong on that gig and there were several good shots of him as well. Way go to go, Kerry!) Bernie to the rescue as usual - thanks for sharing. Hope that Billy takes a little time to enjoy Vegas for all of us. S*
TheScentLady
Gary looks darn good for 61. I got a kick out of the teeny boppers dancing on the side. Their MOTHERS weren't even born when Gary Lewis & the Playboys had all their hits.
susana
ROTFLOL, Sue - GMTA about the teeny boppers! Eeegads....we're not that old, are we????
mannoman
Gary looks better than he sings but it was enjoyable nonetheless. Good to see Billy. Thanks, Bernie.
popdude
Gary looks better than he sings I was thinking that same thing, Ted...but Gary does look good for a 61-year-old, doesn't he? Funny, he sounds nothing at all like he did in the '60s...it was almost like a different singer. He sounded to me a little bit like what Jerry Lewis might have sounded like singing those songs...At least he didn't yell "Pretty LADYYYYY!" wallytosa
Well, since I have Jerry Lewis for my avitar I figured I should chime in on this thread. It was great hearing those old hits again, even if Gary's voice is a little off these days, but not bad for 61! Billy rocked on those drums. So, with GL&TP playing in Branson from April through November next year, does that mean Billy won't be available for any possible Raspberries/EC concerts? Does that mean there won't be any? I hope not. Thanks for sharing Bernie.
Raspbernie
Billy's not playing every day :-)Bernie
Tony Cartmill
That was sweet. Pretty tight little band. But enough of that ageless geek singing lead. It's the "bad boy" rock solid drummer that gets me hot! I think I've seen him somewhere before playing other instruments...Hmmmmmmmmmm. sllvnbil
Hey Guys! Thanks for "trying" to tune in the Telethon!!! It's very confusing of when it airs around the country due to the time delay. Never the less,, thanks for watching!! Thanks to Bernie for sharing the video for all of us {including myself} to see! To answer Wallytosa's question, my plan is to try to do "both" gigs if I can. Gary would most likely be the full time job for me and if and when some Raspberries activity should arise, I'll try my best to work it out hopefully without conflictions. As always, me and my wife Debbie had a blast in Vegas!!! We got outta there just in time for me to keep the shirt on my back!!!!!
