Danny S.
Todd Rundgren's guitar work was very challenging..There is alot going on, musically.I am layering 4 tracks, and double tracking the solos(A Randy Rhoads trick)I spent the better part of the day "brushing up"..They want me to do the live shows too. MJ
Ahhh the memories - riding in my friend Barry's pick up truck - 8 track blasting Bat Out of Hell - every one had a part to sing.... Of course I was Karla Devito lol.... and I was damn good lol.... Singing at the top of our lungs every part - we had a blast lol.
Paulie Mississippi
MJ... was "Jim Steinman's" hand on your ass too for authenticity sake? Danny, hope I get to hear your stuff... I'm a huge fan of Meat's... especially the stuff he's done with Steinman... there's a magic between them... kind of the same power... same sort of "belongs together" feel of our "Carmen-Bryson" duo for Raspberries! Danny S.
Well "Bat Out Of Hell" is sucessfully stored in my aging memory banks, on to the next....hopefully I can remember it! The solo after the "motorcycle Guitar" (6:25 into the song for those of you playing along at home)was a challenge.....Enough for tonite...now "where's the Scotch".....
