Buzzcocks - Ever Fallen In Love?

Joe Jackson - Is She Really Going Out With Him?

Jimmy Cliff - The Harder They Come

Graham Parker - Hold Back The Night (Trampps cover)

and.....I would certainly not want to exclude Super Bad, Sex Machine, Hot Pants, The Payback or Get On The Good Foot by the late James Brown!....or Ain't Gonna Bump No More (With No Big Fat Woman) by Joe Tex....

I Saw The Light - Todd Rundgren hasn't been mentioned, and you can't find many great AM radio intros better than that...

and wow, someone else mentioned (albeit misspelled) Pezband.

And yeah, "See My Baby Jive" deserves to be on my list.

As well as the followup to "Shannon"... "Springtime Mama"

Has "Ariel" - Dean Friedman been on anyone's list yet?

It's sad to think that no one has really mentioned any disco songs. They were huge in the 70's. Anybody remember songs like...

Night Fever or Stayin' Alive - Bee Gees

Turn the beat around - Vicki Sue Robinson

I feel love or Love to love you baby - Donna Summer

That's the way I like it, Boogie shoes or Get down tonight - KC & The Sunshine Band

Dancing Queen - Abba

Play that funky music - WIld Cherry
