Eric Carmen
I've gotta tell you, the vibe between Wally and I has never been better. You can see it on stage, and it translates into the performance. When we're 'On' , nothing can stop us. I love being up there with Mr Bryson. We're unbeatable. e. marvin
Yes Eric, there is no comparision when you are 'on.' There are many of us who missed out on this show, and can only hope that there will be other opportunites.
darlene
WHAT A FANTASTIC POST!!!! I'm devastated that I've been working when YOU guys have been working. But I'll get there. I've always thought of you and Wally as two sides of the same coin--an out-of-this-world musically genius coin. It's the first thing I noticed on seeing Raspberries the very first time. And you're absolutely right--it's tangible in every way and has always completely translated into the performance. It's electric and joyful and I adore it! --Darlene
AnnD
Hi Eric, I saw you at The Grove in Anaheim this year and I you were even more amazing than in 2005. Are you planning to play Southern California in 2008? Please? Thanks for the incredible music you have given this world. Ann

Maggie Clarke
I'm so glad to hear you say what I saw on Friday. My photos captured a lot of those moments... lots of smiles on each of you directed towards the other. There were generous gestures as well, like when you did the opening riff of a song for a few bars, and Wally gestured (like, Presenting Eric Carmen) before adding his guitar part. We fans live for moments like these. You guys really did a great show, and I'm glad I have the chance to tell you. I just hope, as do all of us, that the band can translate this success into even bigger and better things for us all. Maybe a studio album to tour with next year? :-D

MJ
Eric there is NOTHING that can beat the one-two punch (figuratively speaking of course) of you and Wally on stage. I was so happy at HOB to see that vibe going on and thrilled to hear the Cleveland show was even better. It makes all us fans sugh with content when we see it all going the way it was always supposed to be!Now PLAY ON into the future and amaze more fans! Raspyrock
Yes Eric, you guys rocked-out to the max! As I told you and Jim after the show: "You guys are getting better all the time!". We could tell you guys were having fun -- as I mentioned to Dave. Looking forward to more shows! Keep up the great work!!!
Dave from Equinox
Eric, I am so grateful that the four of you got back together to play again for us. When I was in my early teens, I too had a transistor radio in bed with me, but I was waiting for Raspberries to come on! That was the most awesome show on Friday night. Thanks so much! JumpMan
Eric- What an incredible concert! Raspberries looked and sounded the best I have ever heard them! I could see thet everyone on stage was having a really good time, especially you and wally. As you said, you guys were 'on' and you sure were. Friday night was a memorable (all Raspberries performances are, however, friday night was over the top!) and electrifing performance! Wally was really showing his guitar 'a lot of love' on stage as jim was really beating the skins and going to town. Eric your vocals and playing were great. Dave also sounded super and looked like he was having a great time. Hearing That's Rock-n-Roll was a surprise as wally was tearing it up on guitar. I could go on and on... the interaction with the overdubs, even the audience was really into the performance. Thanks to Raspberries, overdubs and the entire crew for a fantastic concert. Raspberries have a synergy and are way to talented not to continue recording and performing. RASPBERRIES ROCK Bill
DeanTylerVO
Eric, saw you and wally and both berries versions in the 70's. Saw and heard the magic back then and hope to see it again in the future.Steven Tyler has Joe Perry, you have the incredible Mr.Bryson...you are ying to his yang or something like that!????The post you put up made all of us feel great that after all these years and rumours etc., that you do indeed love and respect each other. As usual, Eric, you showed your heart and class and we are forever grateful. You two were put on stage for a reason, and from day one, all of us knew and felt it and can only say, "THANK YOU" for all of your gifts of incredible music and joy for over 30 years!Eric, as you said.."I'm not in it for the money, I just want a hit record"..Well, we slip in the cd or dvd and the answer is VERY clear in the grooves.Dean Tyler

Sherberries
Eric, that comment was such a great tribute to Wally and the connection you guys still have after all these years. That is very rare. I was on cloud 9 after HOB, it was definitely a highlight in my life, and I WILL REMEMBER! A million thanks again for coming to L.A. Here's hoping for more in 2008!Sherry
Bessieboo
We just got home from Cleveland, one day later than expected. We had a great time and the concert was wonderful. I don't know if I can express the chemistry of Friday evening other than it was pure Joy. The magic of my first Raspberry concert is still running through me, adding to that meeting the band members was totally unexpected. I never anticipated they would make themselves so accessible. Eric is gracious and a true gentleman. I was truly moved by the time he spent talking to us all. Thank you Eric
rubbersoul8939
Friday was my first Raspberries concert. It was as great as I knew it would be. Thank you to everyone involved. I don't mean to sound greedy, but is there any chance you could play a show in Atlanta? Our winters are much nicer than Cleveland's. You're getting sleepy...very sleepy...Atlanta show this winter...great idea...will book it ASAP...
Doug
Man, I get a bit verklempt reading this from Eric. It was obviously a very good night, but seldom do you get it directly confirmed by the man himself! Eric, thanks so much for letting us know it was as much fun as it looked! Ecstasy
Wally: I'd like to say hello to my mom. Hi, Mom!Eric: My mom's here, too!Wally: Hello, Mrs. Carmen. We're playing together nicely. (in his best Eddie Haskell voice)Eric: It's good, Mom, really!Priceless, absolutely priceless!!! What a joy to see happening in front of you. And all of the guys laughing and barely able to contain themselves while Eric is doing his best McCartney imitation. That just can't be duplicated and we thrived on every minute of it! Thank you, gentlemen, for the spirit as well as the music.
