wallytosa
I was listening to Cleveland's Classic Rock station on the internet today, WNCX, and in honor of the Raspberries reunion 4 years ago today, they played the live version of Overnight Sensation from Live on Sunset Strip. A nice tribute. It's hard to believe it's been 4 years already. Wow, what a night it was....I remember it vividly. For many of us, it was the first time we saw the Raspberries live, but not the last, and what a treat it was. Paula (Razzy) and I still reminisce about it. An electric night.Cheers to Eric, Wally, Jim and Dave. We hope to see you together again in 2009.

blackhawkpat
I remember driving from Chicago and leaving in the snow at four in the morning for the long drive to Cleveland. When the band came out and played IWBWY, it was absolutely surreal to me, as I felt like I was in a dream. I just couldn't believe it was happening after being a fan for so long. I will always be grateful to the band for that special night and to Bernie for creating that amazing opening montage, which literally gave me goosebumps! blackhawkpat
One more reminder....does anyone remember watching the Bill Bixby Thanksgiving show with the band many moons ago?
marvin
I think about the people that I met for the first time on that day, and the fact that four years later the friendships still exist. For that I am grateful.I was among the lucky few who had the chance to see THE montage at the soundcheck that afternoon, and I was literally in tears. It didn't lose any of its effect when I saw it again in the evening.

marlene
I remember it like it was yesterday ! What an amazing night. I NEVER thought I'd have the chance to see Raspberries live. It was a dream come true....and, like Marvin, I'm SO thankful for all of you I've met and formed lasting friendships with throughout these past few years.. Kirk
I was just revisiting "Reflections". Classic stories about discovering Raspberries or Eric (and later Raspberries), filled with passion and humor. I had forgotten about Paul Sidoti's journey to the band...Kazumi asking her English instructor what "Go All The Way" meant...the Allen boys, well, just being the Allen boys...Even though that was only 4 years ago, it's amazing how much has changed in many of our lives. I'm glad we have "Reflections" to remind us of how we got here.
darlene
Thanks, Wally, for the memory. It was the most exciting thing to happen in my life since I last saw Raspberries live. The second most exciting was seeing Macca live. It truly was a magical evening, and the magic lasted for a long long time. There's still a lot left! It was like living in a dream for the longest time. I get goosebumps just thinking about it. I've never seen such a momentous evening with so many fabulous activities flow so perfectly from one moment to the next. The warmth and love present that night was incredible. Thanks for recalling that magical time. And I'm looking forward to more of that feeling in 2009. --Darlene
