Gene
Ok, I have most of September open. So, I propose each week needs a show. NY, Chicago, and Cleveland works for me. (Yeh, like it matters what's good for me, but let's pretend). If not a few shows this year, how about till we all hit the retirement home we all plan on this: Each New Years there needs to be a show in either Cleveland or Chicago. It'll pad the retirement account for the band and it'll make a lot of us happy. Please, guys, don't ever say "It's our last show". Always keep the door open. Early Wynn
Gene - isn't September the height of wedding season? That's my busiest month.
Gene
I have a number of weddings in October and in August... but September is dry right now. I did book and August wedding today. So, it stands to reason I could have some brides wanting September dates. It's interesting. Some plan a year ahead and others pull it together in a month or two. It looks like I'll end up with 30-35 for the year. It doesn't leave too many weekends to shoot a certain band.

An annual mini-tour (LA, Chicago, Cleveland, NYC, and, yes, New England) would be awesome. Even an annual show would something .... Side3, add my welcome to the others'.... And Happy 48th -- I'm right there with you... And maybe I'll grow up one of these years. Maybe. What's interesting is that no one had your User Name yet.... Side3 is a great one. Actually, all four of those original albums are great ones....

hollies65
I am confident, that after the State Theatre show, the band will be open to at least a holiday show in their hometown. Annually.
Ecstasy
I would love to put in a vote for Chicago but then I AM biased. But being the good sport that I am I'm willing to travel!

darlene
Ah, cheer up, Beatnut. You know how quickly we get notice that a show is just around the corner. That was NOT the last show! When the opportunity is right, they'll decide to do it and it will be announced. The band has always been upfront and honest. If it were their last show, they would have told us. With the music biz turned totally on its ear vis a vis distribution going through chain stores and the internet/youtube, etc, there are a lot of heavy decisions needing to be made by *all* artists and groups right now. Just because nothing's happening regarding shows doesn't mean a lot isn't being kicked around by the band. Relax! Until they say it's done, it's not. --Darlene

Can you believe I have my 19 & 20 year old sons asking me about The Raspberries? They watch the DVD with me all the time now, have their songs downloaded on their Ipods, and asked me if the Raspberries have another concert can they go with me. Looks like Pop trained them right! Zimmarks
I stumbled onto the videos, and the fact that the band had regrouped, while shopping online at "itunes." I typed in Raspberries and then videos. I noticed a "lighter haired" Eric and the fact the the picture was in color and soon realized the band was back performing together. I was fired up! I bought the videos for my computer and iphone. I am really hoping for a chance to see them in 08. Dallas or New Orleans HOB would be great! We also have 5 casinos in Shreveport! (matter of fact we saw the Doobie Brothers the Grass Roots, Dr. Hook, KC and the Sunshine Band, Gin Blossoms)
