Al K
We came into a very, very low quality recording of some excerpts from the State Theatre show and thought you might want to check 'em out. Many of you wondered what "That's Rock And Roll" sounded like at this show, and this will give you a little taste... Go to RASPBERRIESONLINE , in the video section, and click on the "Cleveland Bootleg" video. Enjoy! Al
canadianchick
Hi Al....Thanks for two things...for helping me to have an evening that was just magical...and second...even tho they are not the best quality...the bootlegs helped me to relive that night a little...you are a class act Al, Thanks Valorie

hollies65
Towards the end of that clip...[Taken from the Cheap seats] you can begin to feel the excitment that was present that night. If you have been to the State Theatre, you know how it dwarfs the size of the HOB...so it's harder to capture the electricity that was in the air that night on video...but towards the end..... Leff'tHome
Thank heaven someone captured something of that truly memorable night! Just seeing that again gives me goosebumps. It was great, Fred. More, please, guys!
Leff'tHome
So, what else do you think Al is holding out on us?

JohnO
Just wondering if anyone (other than those affiliated with the band) has anything other than just excerpts from this show.....I was sitting toward the back & could see tons of lights throughout the theater - video cameras and tape decks going, with several ushers walking all over the place, asking/telling people to turn them off. It looked to me like they got to practically everyone taping that night at least once. Could have been worse - they could have tossed people who were taping, as I've seen in various venues before.....
AnneG
What a TREAT! Gosh, it's so good to hear that rendition of "That's Rock & Roll". Thanks for the huge grin, Al.
austinberries
tho' i'm sure the band would cringe at the sight & sound of this, it's really cool to see & hear, esp the clip of 'Thats Rock & Roll'. people were really diggin' into that one w/ the bandreminds me of the conversation (previously online on the boards to offline in person) i had w/ Eric at the afterparty about the 'berries doing cover tunes - i don't think either one of us convinced the other of their position, but we had a fun, if not slightly ehh, 'liquidly lubricated', chat about it ;-)so Al, suffice it to say there were no official recordings of the Cleve Eve?i can't tell y'all what a great time these two wayward Texans had in the snowy & rockin' confines of Cleveland... Al K
Correct, AB...no official recordings of the '07 Cleve show were made. This show is gonna go down in the annals of rock history as one of those legendary, mythical concerts where you had to BE there to witness the magic - like the Carnegie Hall show in '73, the 1st reunion show in '04 and the '05 Chicago and NYC shows... Leff'tHome
Legendary. Mythical. I kinda like that! I also like the memory of Austinberries dancing in the aisles, much to the chagrin of the security folks!
chris hess
i thank god every day i was there that night...lol,chris
Craig Benfer
I really wish they would decide to go out and do a tour of solo material. (and release a DVD of that) It would be great to have a DVD of both Raspberries and solo stuff. I wouldn't ask for anything else.
MJ
I'd rather see Raspberries do new songs live... but, if you are going to do solo stuff - everyone would have to be represented - even Jim's Boxer stuff! I think that project would require wayyyy to much rehearsal time for everyone to learn so many new songs ... but you can certainly dream about it. mellie
I'll take anything I can get. I just want MORE Raspberries!!!
Craig Benfer
I agree with you about everyone being represented and I AM dreaming.
