HT from Mo
Hi All I am a newbie here on the EC board and as I was driving home from work this morning I was wondering if any of you sing along with EC in your cars and which ones do you sing with most often? Have a favorite? I do sing in the car almost every time I'm driving to work, pick up kids, etc. My favorite EC song to sing along with is "That's Rock and Roll" and in a close second is "Ready to Try Again". Thanks a bunch! HT from Mo
Early Wynn
I was just singing "It Hurts Too Much" this morning.
MAM
I keep the Side 3/Starting Over CD combo in the equipment van, so one can normally see/hear me driving to a gig bellering out "All Through The Night", "Tonight" and "Hard To Get Over A Heartbreak" quite often. Loud too!
Paul Sidoti
Funny that this was just posted. Just last night I had my iPod in my car and was singing to the Definitive Collection. "ABM", "Control", "Boats", and my favorite, "The Way We Used To Be". To me, that's Eric's greatest song, period.PaulP.S. Tequila Sunrise will be in Nashville at Exit In tomorrow night and House Of Blues in Cleveland Saturday night. Both shows are 9 p.m. www.tequilasunriseband.com for ticket info under Tour Dates link. dianed
Jules....I chair dance too !!! And...when stopped for a traffic light, I tap the rhythm with my foot on the brake so my car dances with me !!! Crazy women drivers !!!
seattlesteve
I do the same thing with Buffet, on my boat I make a mellow cd, and a "party" cd. Eric is so all over the map that you can make a cd for just about every mood. Nothing better than floating in the Puget Sound sun and listening to Make Me Lose Control, Top Down Summer, Hurts too Much, etc...EC... you owe me, I've sold a lot of albums on the water
seattlesteve
Speaking of the Puget Sound... just to reinforce my standing offer, Jim, let's float and catch some crab
AnniekNY
Welcome to the family, HT!! Hummm... Tuesday it was "Walk away Renee" and I love to torture myself trying to sing "She Remembered". Muzza
I know Kiwi has the volume up R E A L loud when she's got Eric on in the car and she's on her own.... I know this because when I go to use the car and turn the key on ... WHAM... music at full volume forces me back out the door. I'm learning to reach for the volume button FIRST.. and then I start the car and then I adjust the volume for me to listen. And Yes Kiwi sings a long. I'm sure she knows the words to every song Muzza
danmichel
I can't help but sing along when my car stereo is playing "Never Gonna Fall In Love Again", "All By Myself", "She Did It"...And "Let's Pretend".

darlene
Trust me, you don't want to hear me sing! And I don't sing around people unless I'm in a group, BUT...when I'm alone in my car and no one can hear me... I belt it out with Eric. You would think I were Babs or Liza Minnelli! I love I'm A Rocker and I Wanna Be With You, but I even wail on the ballads. But, outside the car, I don't sing. Not even in the shower. --Darlene
Brian Michael Page
I sing all of 'em - albeit an octave lower in many cases these days, but I sing all of 'em.BMP
ira
I have NEVER EVER tired of "Never Gonna Fall In Love Again" and "Let's Pretend". I knew they were "phantasmagoricorally" special-even before I learned that thousands more were feeling the same way.-Ira.
Laura
I have the Raspberries Greatest in my car and sing along all the time. With the windows closed because my voice is considered torture in some places.
The Kiwi Connection
Yep I wind the stereo right up and "Sing(I use that word loosely)it loud and sing it proud". My favorite ones are Born To Love You,All For Love and Make me lose Control.Great for de-stressing especially after 8 hours in a Secure Dementia Unit. HT from Mo
Laura, My husband says that I sing horribly - I sometimes sing with him in the car. I hear him sing(with other music other than EC)- can't hold a tune in a bucket. I on the other hand think I sing better than he does by far. My kids - ages 10 and 6 hold their ears and plead for me to stop! HT from Mo
