Coming Down South?

Recommended Posts

I was fortunate to see you in Cleveland at the Scene Pavillion in July 06. I was that crazy tall girl who kept yelling your name before your sound check until you came over to my friend and I and posed for a few pictures. (Something I waited 30 years for!) Do you have any plans of coming to Texas in the near future? I will be in the Akron area at the end of this month. Any plans of popping in any clubs in the Cleveland area?? Just so you know, I teach third grade and my students now go home and burn your songs on their ipods etc. The picture I have of you and me is my screensaver and the students , of course like anything I like. Here is a new generation of kids who like your music. I'm trying to steer them away from "Do Yo Chain Hang Low" and turn them onto REAL music!!

Eric, I'll be in Columbus and Cleveland in mid June, plan on popping into any clubs then? I've never seen you live, that would make my year! My 8 year old son is getting into your music as well, although I'm not sure how I feel about him singing "Go All The Way"!! (One of my favs from high school!)

Hi Diane, If I'm not mistaken, our dear old friend Anthony, the man who's idea it was to have the 'Berries reunite and open the Cleveland HOB, is now running the new HOB in........Dallas, Texas! Hmmmmmm..... and then there's Atlanta, Georgia, the city that broke evrey EC record first, and was the very first city I played when I went solo ( Alex Cooley's Electric Ballroom, I believe it was called. Clive even flew down for that one)! Hmmmmm.... Dallas and Atlanta are probably lovely in autumn......hmmmmmm.......I'm thinking.....ec

Don't forget the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom in Hampton, NH Eric! It's a big old ballroom, not a gambling joint, by the Atlantic. You and the family would like to see an ocean, right? :-)

As I told you before, John Fogerty, Steve Winwood, Collective Soul, Lindsey Buckingham and others have played this venue of 2,000 and have said, from the stage, how much they like the place and its fans.

Just think - Autumn in New Hampshire and walking along the beach. You and my wife and I could talk music and Macintosh whilst you are here! :-)

Seems to me everyone sorta took Eric's comments in stride. Maybe I read too much into it... but, me thinks it is time to make sure the charge card is cleared up enough to provide for of an autumn trip in hopes of a getting a basket full of Raspberries.

Perspective.... merspective; Territorial....Beartorial; Atlanta in the fall would be the perfect choice. There are a lot of great venue choices for the show and a lot to do down here. With the right surgical promotion an EC or Raspberries show would be a HUGE success.

I may have to go to both just on GP. Try to schedule about a week apart so I can recover from the 1st gig!!

Plenty of nice venues here in metro Atlanta:

1.) Philips Arena which seats 21,000

2.) Coca-Cola/HiFi Buys Amphitheatre ( HOB run )

3.) Chastain Park ( saw you perform w/ Ringo )

4.) Fox Theatre -- a traditional fave

**** Marvin's got a point ... but relax dude, I'll

swing by the airport and pick you up!!
