Eric Carmen
Done! Kudos to Mark Linett for a masterful job, and for going WAAAAAY above and beyond the call of duty in his desire to make everything sound great. We will be forever in his debt. He's been a pleasure to work with and his dedictaion has been apparent from the beginning. He's a veritable fountain of recording knowledge. He's also very, very funny. I'm still chuckling over a few of his emails. ec

Donmand
Without getting too technical? Can we assume the ORIGINAL soundboard recording was remastered with NO new overdubbed vocals, guitars or drums? After all: that's what the LA House of Blues Concert sounded like that night! The pure energy, passion and sweat should be in those CD grooves...along with over 1000 SCREAMING Fans!DonEric wrote:Done! HOW TO RECOGNIZE A BAITER Their purpose is usually to "bait" or "lure" an individual into a discussion with the intent of pouncing on him/her as soon as they do. Baiters will conduct their baiting by posting topics that they believe will "catch" their target—hoping that the target will reply. Baiter’s posts are generally quite subtle, so that many others in the community may not even "see" what is going on. Even the person being "baited" may not realize it until they’ve fallen into the trap. THE HIDDEN COSTS While baiting incidents generally don’t impact the community as a whole, they certainly impact those who are being "baited." If a Baiter succeeds in embarrassing their "target" it can result in a feeling of power for them and embolden them for their next target. WHAT CAN WE DO? Sorry to say that the onus is on the person being baited. If this is happening to you, just refrain from replying to anything posted by the person you believe is baiting you. If you believe you are being baited but still reply to the baiter, then you have knowingly walked into the trap. If you knowingly walk into a trap, then perhaps you want the resulting conflict as much as the Baiter does. If you are a Baiter, reconsider what you are doing. In the end, your intent will be revealed and you will find yourself discredited. Bernie

Raspbernie
Marlene, Tour photographer Gene Taylor was there with camera in hand, but just missed the moment. I'm sure if he got it, it would be as famous as that Iwo Jima flag raising photo. At least here on EC.COM! Bernie
