Eric Carmen
Went to see the Fab Faux this evening, featuring Will Lee ( probably one of the 3 best bassists in America ( if not the world). They were awesome, to say the least. Instrumentally, they were PERFECT. Will's got a lot of energy and charisma. Great show ,overall. Go see them if they come to your town.ec
MJ
My brother RAVED about them - he say them in NY last year - let's hope they come to a town near the rest of us!
Tiggsherby
Hey Eric, that was kind of an "off-topic" response...Please address the issue for us....Here, I'll make easy...answer A, B or CA. Yes, I'm working on it.B. No, it's not going to happen.C. Maybe, if the time is right and the stars are properly aligned.
Rich From PA
Eric:Is it safe to assume that, for whatever reason, you do not want to answer this question?
hollies65
Heh...I'd say that's a safe bet.
darlene
Eric's always pretty forthcoming. Maybe he *can't* answer it because he's involved with Raspberries business, which is more than enough on one's plate. As Bahoo once told me, "Don't get your knickers in a knot." I'd never heard that one before. It must be Canadian, but it's cute. --Darlene
Muzza
Hey Darlene. Down here we say "Don't get ya knickers in a twist". Similar to the Canadians. Also when something breaks we say "It has sucked a kumara". However, Kiwi and I await ANY news of a concert either a solo Eric one or a Raspberries one and then we can come and see y'all again. raspberrywolf
Ahhhhhh yes the familiar "Knickers" line...originated in Britain and most of us with any type of British heritage are familiar with it on some level...a more colloquial version is of course "Don't get your panties in a bunch"~LOL Now back to the original seriousness of this topic...I feel *if* things are being planned/organized for such a concert that until all the i's are dotted and the t's have been crossed it would not be fair to Mr.Carmen to sort of 'put himself' out there and make a statement and then something doesn't come together for whatever reason(i.e. no one can predict health issues of individuals or family) and he would be left disappointing so many unintentionally...and I feel that would be the last thing he would ever want to do i.m.h.o. Just my thoughts....... *Vera*
Rich From PA
So, let me get this straight. There is a section called: The Inside Story that says: Have a question? Ask Eric. I asked an innocent question that apparently a number of other people wanted the answer to. And after several weeks of having the question ignored, I asked: Is it safe to assume that, for whatever reason, you do not want to answer this question?I'm not sure how that constitutes knicker-twisting. Just putting the issue to bed in my mind.Rich
darlene
Hi, Rich! The "knickers" comment wasn't directed at you. I just thought it would be a humorous thing to throw in because Bahoo once used it and because it's very easy for all of us (myself included!) to want answers for things Eric and the guys might not be able to tell us at the moment. Your question is valid and I apologize if my post sounded flippant. Sorry. --Darlene

Tony Cartmill
I'm sorry that all of you are such nice politically correct "sissy-boys and girls"! Yo! EC, Answer Rich's damn question already! Sheeez!
Tony Cartmill
Maybe "Babs" Streisand is "FISA-ing" the board, waiting for Eric to announce, so she can cause another scheduling conflict. And EC doesn't want the shrew to have the inside info...Yeah, that's it.

raspberrywolf
First, extending a friendly handshake...Hi Rich, I am Valorie's sister (sadiis) and if in ANY way my comment offended you I want to assure you it was NEVER meant to be taken in that manner and I also would like to offer you my apology. I was just in my own humble way trying to think why you had not got an answer to your very valid question...nothing more, nothing less. I hope that you will get one soon because so many of us as well are waiting on the edge of our seats with anticipation *Vera*
Rich From PA
Vera:As I said, no apology is necessary. I just wanted to clarify why I posted the second comment. Kirk
I don't think it's a good idea to fall asleep in the presence of a Kumara...looks a little too much like "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"
darlene
Thanks, Muzz, it does. I love sweet potatoes! They look yummy. So what is meant by the saying, "sucked a Kumara"?! --Darlene
Muzza
Darlene...It really means "It's broken beyond repair". Where the saying comes from and what it has to do with Kumaras I have no idea. Now... when did Eric say that concert was going to be????? Muzza
