marvin
Eric I think somewhere along the way you mentioned that Mike McBride wrote the lyrics to "All Through the Night." Was there ever any consideration given to having him sing the lead? Marv
Paulie Mississippi
Good question. When Starting Over first came out I didn't know that Mike had sang lead in other bands. I too wonder why his vocal skills were not used in Raspberries, and I wonder had there been a follow up to Starting Over would he have been considered then? Don_Krider
I think Eric said in another post that Mike's original working title for "All Through The Night" was "Thank You For Services Rendered" (or something like that) which I think is a pretty cool rock 'n' roll title (immediately reminds me of The Who and The Stones), so I wonder why the title was changed? Does the acoustic guitar demo for "All Through The Night" that Eric mentions in Bernie and Ken's book "Eric Carmen: Marathon Man" still exist? Eric says in the book: "We did a great demo of the song in Wally's living room with just a couple of acoustic guitars. It had a cool vibe." seattlesteve
I was under the impression that ATTN was all Erics and not a collaboration.
