JuliaD
Would anyone here be interested in chatting sometimes? I have my own chatroom, and it's not advertised on the web, the only people who go there are people I invite, so it's not a nuthouse like some (most) chatrooms are... we don't have to make it about Eric, you can talk about whatever you want... it's not a fancy place, it's a Bravenet chat, but you can have private chats, and put people on ignore if they're bugging you... if people are interested, and it's okay with you, Bernie, I'll post the URL
Steveh
Hi Julia D.It would be fun to chat. Just one question: Why ñ "is it hot in here.."? Steveh
JuliaD
That's just my signature, automatically put on any post I make in here... no woman with even one functioning hormone left in her body could look at all those pics of Eric and not be affected, at least a little
darlene
Hi, JuliaD! I'm on the faculty at a classical music camp, so I was away for a whole week and missed everyone on the board. No, it's not hot in here, and it's not "those avatars!" -- it's just us. Guys are always cool -- until they see Heather Locklear or someone like that! Then it gets pretty "HOT in here" for them too! And, ladies, when you get to be 50 +, if you want to keep ALL your hormones, you don't need hormone replacement therapy -- just look at some pictures of Eric and the ones you had at age 14 will wake up! Then to get them absolutely RACING, watch a video performance. Then YOU'LL feel like Heather Locklear! Right, Julia? --Darlene
Steveh
Hi JuliaD! NOW I get it!Steveh
Julie
Hi Darlene! Nice to have you back. I've missed you and your posts. No problem with hormones here but I do get steady doses of EC daily! ---Julie
LostControl
I'm not quite old enough to need hormone replacement therapy quite yet, but by coming here every day, I get to keep my hormones flowing! Then I may never have to use HRT. On the other hand, EC give even us young chicks hot flashes!BTW, back to the original topic. Have you decided on a date for a chat?Michelle
JuliaD
Well, I'm kinda waiting on Bernie to let me know it's okay if I post the URL in here, I don't want it to seem like I'm trying to take people off his site and onto mine, lol...but mine's just the chat, and Bernie's place is so awesome, it'd never happen anyhow... but it's sort of a matter of "netiquette" to me to ask Bernie's permission, ya know? And Bernie, if you'd rather I not post it, that'll be cool, no hard feelings (and no bad pun, lol)...As for a "date and time", I just figured I'd post the URL in my profile or something, and let people go there whenever they want... JuliaD
Darlene, you're at band camp?! Weellllllllll, we *all know what goes on at band camp, don't we? (got some fond memories of it myself...)"and then the one time, at band camp......."
darlene
JuliaD, My orchestra camp was way too crowded with activity to even THINK about doing what goes on at band camp! I had to coach chamber music classes and teach violin technique to a class of 10-12 year olds and 14-17 year olds! By the time I got done with that, I had to be concertmaster of a festival orchestra that was playing some really complex music to give a concert after only four days of practice to present to the whole campus and community! Then every night not only did we attend a concert by visiting artists, but after that we'd play chamber music and concertos "just for fun" till about midnight. After that, I had to practice personally till 2-3 AM, then get up at 6:30 AM, make it to breakfast and start all over again! The only people I got to have a love affair with were Grieg, Brahms, and Bach and they're all dead! (But the music was so beautiful, it was quite a love affair I had with them!) On Friday night, the students' 3 orchestras presented a gala concert for faculty, community and their parents. They were so phenomenal, all my lost sleep was worth it. After a brief farewell party for faculty and adult participants, we packed and went to sleep, got up for a faculty evaluation of the entire conference, and went home. That night I had a polka gig to play with a really dear friend I hadn't seen in 17 years! If we kept all the high school band kids this busy at band camp, they'd NEVER have time to get in trouble! --Darlene 17 years!

JuliaD
Okay, thanks... the URL is http://pub12.bravenet.com/chat/show.php?usernum=976646289 It's called the Mouse House Chat (don't ask why, lol)... it's a pretty quiet place, not many know about it, and everyone is invited to visit, all I ask is that you act respectful of anyone you may find there (and I'm sure you all would anyway)...I personally will not be there tonight, I'm headed for bed, but hopefully we will be able to chat one night soon
Simdonnaj91258
Hi Julia. It is late here on the east coast, and I know everyone else is sleeping. I bookmarked your chat site, and I promise to visit and say "HI." Good night and dream about Eric, I do. Donna
darlene
Hi, Julia! You've been pretty busy on the web, haven't you. I've never been in a chat room -- I'd enjoy trying it sometime. I'm sure I'll visit your "Mouse House."I've had a very busy summer and some of it has kept me away from the board. Right now I'm finishing up work writing a whole polka album for someone. It really came to me about 3 years ago but I never made the time to put it down. My husband finally challenged me to finish it, so I listened to a lot of Eric to coax my Muse out of hiding and I have only 1-1/2 songs left to put down. It's amazing, but anytime I need creativity, I just pop some Eric on my CD player and listen, and suddenly "anything is possible"....Maybe it ISN'T really hot in here -- maybe it IS those avatars! Love, Darlene
