marvin
I just happened to be reading the liner notes for Scott's "Play On" and lo and behold it mentions that after the 'berries split, Scott tried to start a band with Craig and Bruce Balzer. The band was Phil Alexander (vocals/keyboards), Frank Salle (bass), Tommy Dobeck (drums), Dan Hrdlicka (guitar), and myself Mick Sabol (guitar). Rich Reising did play some keboard in the studio on a few songs, but was never a member of the band. Hope this helps. Hey Mick. Glad to hear you remember playing in the band (ha, ha)... All in Cleveland say hey.

Phil is a minister now outside Cleveland in Bainbridge OH. Tommy Dobeck is still drumming with Michael Stanley among others. Dan Hrdlicka just wandered in to Around The Corner the other night in Lakewood, but he's not playing on a regular basis. He did play "Stop Wait & Listen" with a throw together line-up at Buddy Maver's summer bash this year. Frank is still doing photography, as far as I know. Mick - Fill in your blank on the bio.... Matthew C. Clark
NOW if only Wounded Bird Records or Shout! Factory would reissue that album that would be great! Maybe someday. Matt
Matthew C. Clark
I e-mailed Wounded Bird Records & guess what, they are NOT doing the reissue. 😡 Too bad. Matt
Marge
First there was Marvin Gardens: Rich Reising, Chris Reising (no relation), Steve Knill (bass), and John Hart (drums). On Aug 1, 1973 (as announced in the Plain Dealer) Dan Hrdlicka, formerly of Circus, joined the band replacing Chris Reising and they changed their name to Magic. As Magic, they were probably best known for being Eric Carmen's backing band when he recorded his first solo LP. 1

Doreen
Interesting. We had a local band here named Circus. Don’t remember all the members but one was a girl I went to high school with and another was her brother Bruce Smith who went on to work with Fran Cosmo, Barry Goudreau, and Mike D something to form Orion the Hunter
