Steveh
Hi Mike, I was at a 3-day conference in Wash DC. Got home on Sun. Nothing new to report except that I had a great time at the Psychotherapy Networker Conference. The only EC-related item I have is this: during a presentation, the people attending were asked to close their eyes and become aware of their psychological "parts". First I became aware of my heart, then I started to listen to "Hungry Eyes". No kidding!Steveh
darlene
Michael, I agree...I guess everyone is watching the war. I must admit I'm guilty of being absolutely riveted to the television, especially late at night. One night, I waited till 2:30 AM for the 11th Iraqi infantry division to surrender, and they never did that night. In between times of praying for our soldiers and loved ones and grieving for those sadly lost, I'm sure people will come back and make themselves happier on EC.com.Till then, I'm still here. --Darlene
aggiesjc
Still here, too! Like Darlene, I've been watching the news. I noticed no action on the board over the past few days, and figured everybody's pretty preoccupied.
Kirk
Well, somebody could start a rumor...I think I saw Tony and Darlene making lemonade...Kirk
Julie
I'm still here, but I too have been keeping up with world events. *This* is a good escape...an almost guilty pleasure in times like these. My heart is with our troops and their families and friends as they face unknown odds in these uncertain times. --Julie
mrsunrise
Hi iv posted a request, but its been ignored so far?still living in hope.mr sunrise
mymooladi
I too have been watching the war, but when I can't take it any longer, I just have to put Eric on. It works guys, try it when the war gets to you. Eric, I know you have a hard time listening to yourself, so I guess you would be listening to your clasical music. We all need to take breaks from this horror...JUNE
darlene
MrSunrise, Somehow I missed your request. Please repost itand we'll see what we can do. I haven't seen toomany requests ignored on EC.com. Even when everyone was asking for "The Devil Song," as weall called it, our request was answered via a Christmas present from Bernie. So, please repost your request. I almost guaranteeSOMEONE will answer it. --Darlene
Tony Cartmill
I drove 10 hrs. to San Francisco over the weekend to see the city for the 1st time and visit my wife's friends. The weather was good. the area is beautiful. The politicians and protesters are mostly idiots. I wish we could open up Alcatraz again and let them bunk there together for awhile.Forgot my E.C. compilation CD so my wife and I had time to argue... Robin23
I guess all of us have more in common than we realize. I too have been keeping informed about world events...I was in the military, and now I teach elementary school, so....many reasons to stay informed. My thoughts are definintely with our guys and gals overseas...may they know all of us are thinking of them, and praying for their safe return home soon. Also, I too have been taking my daily EC mini-concerts in the car....surround sound stereo, as Eric sings..."turn the radio up.." me, I do as I'm told...ha ha! Billy K.
Been a bit busy lately.....working on some home improvement duties.....also went to South by Southwest, which is a music festival in Austin, Tx......a lot of good bands from all over .......it was such a great experience ......sorry I was only there for two days......want to be there for the whole thing...hard thing to believe until you are actually there.....Austin has more live music places in just 4th 5th and 6th streets, than what a lot of other cities have for the whole city. No wonder it is called the "live music capital of the world". Not just country, either----punk, power pop, blues, jazz, techno, acoustic---every type of thing. In fact, upon returning home, a few days later I went and booked time in a local recording studio and cut some vocal tracks, on top of some backing tracks I recorded at home.....really was psyched up after coming back from Austin.....This is the first time I've gone in the studio since 1983! Really felt good doing this, too. Finally got off my butt and did something, after putting it off for a long time. But getting back to SXSW, best check out the list of performers....from all over the world....check out their official website www.sxsw.com......
