LobsterLvr
The Raspberries 30th Anniversary is here. 30 years ago last month 'Don't Wanna Say Goodbye' was released. 30 years ago next month 'Go All The Way' became 'hitbound'. When I think of the Summer of 72 I can't help smiling, remembering my first girlfriend, frying myself in the sun at Hampton Beach, New Hamshire, and hearing Eric, Wally, Dave and Jim blasting out of every radio on beach. I can smell the Coppertone now!!!! Dave
Kirk
Dave-- Your summer of '72 sounds just like mine, just change the beach to Venice, Ca. Hey, someone throw me a frisbee! Kirk.
darlene
Hey guys, MY summer of '72 was exactly the same, except the suntan lotion was Bain de Soleil, and the beach was in Manasquan, New Jersey. Then at night, off the beach and into a club, and when the band took its break, feed quarters all night into the jukebox and play Raspberries tunes! Yeah, THAT was the life!!! --Darlene
marvin
Summer of 1972? I was in Montreal, my dad drove me to Plattsburg, NY to pick up the 'berries first album after I heard "Go All the Way" on the K-Tel album, "Believe In Music."Marvin
