Raspbernie
For those of you who missed seeing Wally's guitars in the last photo, here's a new one taken last night. I love seeing Wally's old guitar cases with the Raspberries logo spray-painted on the side. (How much you think one of those would go for on eBay? :-) I hear that the boys ran through "Let's Pretend" and "I Saw The Light," among others. Dave is scheduled to join Wally, Jim and Eric in a few weeks. Then the magic will really start.Bernie
gordharris
Bernie, That photo is better than the last one. What a set up, I like a lot.The first thing that caught my eye, was the red guitar case with the white faded Raspberries sign on it too. That is so cool. gordharris
I noticed the Raspberries sign, you cannot see it, because Jim does not have the white behind itto grab the the attention to the drum set.
marlene
What a great picture, Bernie ! I can feel the excitement from here....this is just so amazing. Thanks again for sharing. (and thanks to Jim for taking such great shots) Personally, I hope we NEVER see any of this equipment on ebay...maybe I'm just too sentimental.... Randy
How about a photo of the guys rehersing?
hosskratz
The red guitar that is with Wally's equipment is a Parker Fly. Wally has been playing one for a few years now. The cool thing about the Parker is that it has piezo pickups in the bridge which give it an acoustic sound if he chooses. I saw Wally use it in Illinois with the Drysdales, what's cool is that he can play with both electric and acoustic sounds coming out at the same time, things he may have done while recording original Raspberries tunes. The reunion ought to be great.
darlene
Looking at that picture brings up the old tingles again...I've been praying for this since 1975. It really is exciting just looking at the room set up for them. Imagine how it will feel when they're behind those instruments and mics. Wow!!!!Marlene, my very thought...I hope I NEVER see such equipment on e-bay. It would be simply traumatic. To see the guys and hear them together again (at last!) will be simply DIVINE!!!Here's to the not-so-distant future! --Darlene

gordharris
Ok, Suede, I get the picture,So many names for guitars, it's really hard for me to tell one from the other. The most important, is the magic of The Raspberries to start.I wonder if the possibility of a live simulcast could happen to watch on our computer? For those who cannot make it.That would be great. JCraft
Marv--looks like the sound board blocking some of the view--I'll get a lot more excited (if that's possible) when I see bass equipment sitting there. I wonder if Dave has modernised,or can I look for an old Fender jazz????
MAM
From what he told me a few months back, he's playing a Precision with active electronics.
mymooladi
I was in the grocery store today when I heard "Go All The Way" over the sound system and It was loud too. I sang the whole song. Maybe word is getting out to the DJ's and they are getting some air time. COOL! June
