Very cool - thanks for the link!

I know it's been stated here (and elsewhere) many times before, but it bears repeating from time to time, I guess: "Go All the Way" and "I Wanna Be With You" are simply two of the finest power pop songs ever - absolutely unparalleled in terms of songwriting, performance, spirit and passion. I still get chills when I hear the opening guitar chords to "IWBWY."

Damn, they had a Record Planet version of Tonight on there, but it says that it's no longer there. You even hear Eric introduce it at the end of the Let's Pretend clip as a tease.. Anyone got that clip that they could send me?

My email is jason@planetbeet.fsnet.co.uk if anyone has that clip.

FANRAZTIC!!!!!!!!!! Where was this technology 30 years ago when I was 17.???????? I remember setting up my tripod in front of the TV for Don Kirshners Rock Concert. We ended up with blurry stills with bars across the middle of the picture. At the time we tryed to take scissors and cut around the bars to get enough of a picture to make a collage........ Oh the good old days!!!! Mare

Wow!...Great stuff!...The Raspberries can deliver the goods live...Some bands are really hurtin' when it comes to trying to re-create the sound of their records...Much of the Raspberries best music seems made to play live...without a net...It also helps that those two songs are great to begin with...It sure is cool when you can find a way to make a song seem like it's mostly the chorus...And why not?...The chorus is usually the best part of the song anyway...Right off the top of my head (the way I usually post)I couldn't name any other songs that are a better example of the "mostly chorus" school of songwriting than "Go All The Way" and "I Wanna Be With You"...

Next lyric I write I'm gonna try to do it that way...

Very cool clips!! It was great to see Jim singing! I gotta say,,, I think Jim still sings great! He'll kill me for posting this!!!! I know that the reunion shows, Jim just wanted to concentrate on playing drums. When we played Atlantic City last year, me, Jim & Dave were in the "tuning" room. Ernie set up this cool little space for us to tune up our guitars and plug in a little practic amp and warm up. We just started to play the Beatles song "What Goes On" with Dave singing Ringo's part, me singing John's part and Jim singing the Paul McCartney part DEAD ON!!!! Jim knocked me out on how great he sang!!! I wished somehow Paul Sidoti would have had his video recorder to document that moment!!!! That would have been some great behind the scenes footage for sure!!!! That was one of many cherished moments for me on the Raspberries Reunion tour!!!! It was too late to turn that story in for Bernie's & Ken's book! Maybe volume II !!!!
