Eric On Tour 2002!

Recommended Posts

I hope you're right. I'm really only trying to be realistic with my selections. If I were going by personal preference, the list would be different. Wouldn't it be great if Eric could someday put that Hall Of Fame band back together again, and perform a full length concert with all those Raspberries and solo favorites?!

The Keswick Theatre in Glenside PA is a little north of Phila. I'll be picking up some tickets at the Box Office...should I grab a few extras for the EC fans? It's a great place see a show...small and cozy not a bad seat in the house!!! I can't wait!!!

Hi, everyone. Bernie, is there a place on ec.com where you've posted the tour dates so far? I've missed it. The Keswick is close enough to us to go! I can't wait!!! Please advise us as to all the dates you know so far. Is there a website for this tour that lists dates and venues? --Darlene

I visited my family in Japan for a while and just came back to New York. I'm so happy to know about Eric's tour. It's absolutely my dreams come true. However, I'm thinking which show I should go to because I have no idea how to get to the places. I mean my country is very small. We can easily get to concert places by using public transportations, but this country is (unbelievable!) huge. It seems like difficult for a foreigner like me who doesn't have a car and any friends here to go to see the shows. If Eric comes to New York City, I have no problem, but I know he can't visit every city in this big country.

Brewster is the nearest one from here, but I'm not sure if I can go there without a car. Also, how to get back to the place where I can take some public transportations after the show is my concern. Now I'm thinking Cleveland is the best for me.(maybe) Anyway, I have to research more before I buy a ticket. It must be a big trip for me, but I will make it.

Everyone, please cross your fingers for this japanese EC fan to see Eric and hear his voice. I hope to see you guys at that time!

JuliaD, You're ON!!!! 10 pounds by July -- I'm trying for 10 pounds by June! NO SODA or soft drinks. It will kill you, but you must abstain. Soda puts so much weight on -- it's ALL sugar. Lots of vegetables. NO junk! Lots of water. And -- get a copy of APr 22 1996 First Magazine for Women and do the swimsuit workout. It works for me every summer. Let me know you're address and I'll send you a copy. Then we can drool over our own thin figures as wel!! --Darlene

I went to the Keswick Box Office today and picked up 4 tickets: Row 6 Stage Left. If you're anywhere near Philadelphia this is the venue to see the show. It only holds 1300 so every seat is a great one. Glenside PA is about 5 miles from Exit 28 (Willow Grove Exit)of the PA Turnpike. Hope to see alot of Eric fans there....

This is exciting! I had seen this show advertised for a couple of local venues when I thought Todd Rundgren was going to be with them for the whole run, and I was wavering on whether to go - I do like the other artists, but lots to do this summer, lots to spend money on already, etc. etc. So I happened to hit the web site for the New Hampshire venue this afternoon and they had Eric's name listed! I immediately jumped over here to see if it was really true, and when I confirmed it, I bought my ticket! I'm looking forward to meeting some of you if anyone from this board makes it up that far. I saw Eric with Ringo's tour when it was at the I-Center in NH, and because of several reasons NOT having to do with Eric's or anyone's performance, it ended up being not so great. I'm hoping this will be so much better! :)

The drummer for the "Abbey Road" tour is Steve Murphy. The band for the tour is not exclusively an all-star band concept like Ringo's last year. In fact, there's a couple of other studio guys in the band as well. This way the band will have the proper backup to do some of the more complex Beatles numbers and have 'em actually sound like the studio Beatles ... something Ringo never attempted. I'm anticipating a really tight show and can't wait to hear how faithfully they'll be able to pull of the Raspberries classics as well! --Bernie

Just noticed that Bernie has posted that Eric will be playing July 16th in Toronto which just happens to be the day I fly into Toronto for a week long conference. One is Eric confirmed, and two, does anybody have any idea when ticekts are available, ideally in a pre-sale capacity? Got to be in the first few rows, you understand...

How ironic that Eric will be in concert in Denver on July 4th, and I will be in Colorado on July 4th, but NOT ANYWHERE CLOSE TO DENVER!!! That hurts beyond words. One of the magazines I write for is sending me to research a story near Durango/Telluride that week, but there's no way Denver will fit in. I ache with the pain of it!!

EricH-- I try to put up the most current tour information I have as soon as I have it so that visitors of EricCarmen.com can be first in line for tickets to get as close as possible to the stage so that Eric can hear us scream and clap really, really LOUD for him! Most of the info I get is gleaned from multiple sources. Until verified, some of the listings are subject to change. --Bernie
