Paulie Mississippi
Chief Dan George! I loved him in "The Outlaw Josie Wales""I never surrendered, but they took my horse and made him surrender..." I laugh evertime I see him say that to Clint... I also fondly remember "Chief Knock-A-Homa", the old Braves mascot who would come out and dance around his Tee-Pee whenever a Braves player would hit a home run! Ah, the good old, not-so-PC days! JCraft
From the latest post on the other official Raspberrie web site, this new site,as wonderful as it is, seems to have dug up some old wounds. I hope it sounds worse than it is.Jim

Travis
And now we've left the Indian (Cleveland and other)trail, momentarily stepped into the lane marked "Old Wounds", but finally deciding on "Never Ending Story" Blvd., a street populated by gnomes.I'm telling you, this is a trip that Michael Palin can only dream of taking. BadfingerBarb
The only whining I see is by those who don't like criticism. I think a little constructive criticism is, well..., constructive. The ONLY criticism I have ever had of this site is there is an over abundance of kool aid drinkers. If criticism is offered in a polite and respectful manner then it should always be welcomed. Agree or disagree with it but don't discourage it. Regarding the issue at hand, I can see both sides of it and don't really have an opinion on it either way. But I hate to see those who do being deterred in any way. Notable current Indians are Grady Sizemore and C.C. Sabathia. They are as good as it gets. Keep your eyes on Andy Marte as well. I don't expect the Indians to under achieve again next season.

Raspbernie
Frozen Kool-Aid?!? What an AMAZING thing that was. You didn't always have ice cream in the fridge as a kid, but you always had Kool-Aid. So a batch of Kool-Aid iced pops was just an hour (or so) away :-)Bernie
BadfingerBarb
We NEVER had Kool-Aid when I was a kid. I drank milk at my house. My spoiled friends down the street always had Funny Face (Remember Goofy Grape and Choo Choo Cherry, etc...?).
mymooladi
Eric, I truly like the new Raspberry site. It looks like this site will take you guys right into the future. Let’s hope for lots of hits on the site, and lots of sales on the up coming CD. I can't wait to get mine.I remember thinking and praying about how much it would mean to me to meet Eric and tell him how much His MISIC has meant to me. I did this for years and years till I found this web site. I thought I struck GOLD!! Not much later my heart stopped when I actually got a chance to hear the Raspberries LIVE! I never seen them before and thought my chances were long, long gone. I saw 5 shows!!Now the Raspberries have a new web site and our boys are moving forward AGAIN!!! I couldn't be HAPPIER. This is pretty miraculous in it's own right, why would you want to put a damper on any of this.ENJOY people!!Peace & Love- June
jimb
And one's true status in the neighborhood was calculated by whether you had the "real" ice pops made in the plastic "ice pop maker tray" where each pop had a plastic stick and a collar at the bottom to keep the drips off your hands or if you had the "homestyle" ones where Mom made them in a regular ice cube tray with toothpicks propped up with Saran wrap! Frozen Kool-Aid?!? What an AMAZING thing that was. You didn't always have ice cream in the fridge as a kid, but you always had Kool-Aid. So a batch of Kool-Aid iced pops was just an hour (or so) away :-)Bernie

Kirk
Actually, two of the original flavors were Injun orange and Chinese cherry. And the corresponding characters were pretty funny, also. Those flavors didn't last too long with those names, hence choo-choo cherry. My favorite candy of all time black crows, was also changed years ago to licorice crows. Go figure. Kirk. Travis
Again, our path on this stream has taken some wonderful twists and turns. Since frolicing with the Never Ending Story gnomes, we've danced with the stars, dined on homemade potato (or as Dan Quale spells it, p-o-t-a-t-o-e) chips, washed them down with Kool Aid or Funny Face, and had a cool and refreshing frozen Kool Pop. Geez, I wonder why they dropped the Injun Orange and Chinese Cherry names??
AnniekNY
OK, Susan, I have to give you the bad news...Sterling Forest Gardens (a mile from where i live) is now the Rennaissance Faire for 8 weeks in the summer (the last week was...well, last week!!)and starting tonight is the Forest of Fear...which means I will be hearing a shotgun going off about every half hour Fri/Sat/Sun til 1 a.m. when the escaped mental patient runs across the roof of the Slaughterhouse (haunted mansion).I sit on the deck and do jello shots...raspberry flavored of course.
