Great observation Lew and it's pretty obvious that something was up with that that evening, however Eric is in his realm being on stage. He's just not in the for front. Perhaps they were all just kind of winging it, so to speak that evening and Eric wasn't too sure what to expect. That does happen. And yes, we'd love to hear your take on it Bernie. THIS "GREAT" post was a little before my Eric Carmen and Raspberries time on here. Started browsing all the comments on here and got a little teary eyed. This couldn't be truer than to all whom had written it all on here. I don't listen to the news much and really haven't in a long time but it was nice to see this here as I did not know about it. Real happy that no one was injured and LC.....don't know if I'll ever get back to Cleveland again, but it did ROCK when I was there back in 2009!!! Yeah!!! :-)

I use to love watching Dateline NBC and (The Timeline). All the greats are gone or replaced. Almost, everything great (shows, movies, etc) back then has been done and they are just trying to redo that great stuff and make it worse. I sure don't miss watching tv anymore Matt. Nancy.

It's kind of like the black and white picture on the first page of "The Cinderella Ballroom". By the title of the club (ballroom) you would think in your mind that it must be a real swanky, beautiful joint, (so to speak) and (maybe in color format, it is) but in it's black and white format, I laughed at the "creative" name of the place because it looks nothing like a ballroom but more like a large barn stall that would hold horses. I think I read on here somewhere, that this place has since been torn down. I would have loved to actually have seen this place. Think the owner created a pretty cool name for this place, intentionally. Now "THAT'S" what I call being "simply" creative AND most effective! Nancy.

Back in those days, (correct me if I may be wrong) but...back then "a" designer was called in to design a appropriate album cover. There job was to design a album cover that reflected "a" image, the bands image. A lot of times the bands did not like the design or image that the designer saw in his mind of how the band cover album (should) be presented. Also technology has advanced greatly as well. Sometimes, I think simplified is so much better. Capturing a more natural, true meaning of what a band or artist is all about. If you can get a picture like that, it will speak for itself and what the band character may be about. The photo, picture that I had commented on, captures just that in all's it simplicity. Kirk I think your creative cover is cool too but I'm not too keen on the "Bad Boys" titled below "Raspberries". Pictures can speak volume. Wally in a lot of his pictures shows a kind of a bad boy image. That look came about pretty much later with all the long (hair) band images. I said it once before and I guess it wouldn't hurt to say it again, "Raspberries" I think, were way a head of their time. Nancy

I'm in the same boat (so to speak) as you James. I found out about "Raspberries" from another site that Eric Carmen and I were friends on. I was kind of too young back then for "Raspberries" but do recall hearing Go All The Way on the radio. But...I knew of Eric's music and from there that's how I was, so called introduced to Raspberries stuff. P.S I'd like to just say "you guys are doing a real fine job keeping the posts up" Thank-you. That first poster picture would have made a GREAT, great, first album cover leaving fans and people "new" to hearing Raspberries music, perhaps wanting to buy the album to see fully what they were all about and also peeking their curiosity as well. Think this look is the real deal and what they "were" all about back then because it's natural and that look was them. Nice picture and naturally done. Very nice. Only thing is, Dave and Jim aren't in there. Love them too. Nancy.
