  1. I can remember "awesome" becoming popular in the early 80's after Fast Times at Ridgemont High. The surfers started it in California from what I know.
  2. So Cayennegirl you're telling me that the "never-ending" (everlasting) gobstopper poll is still going? Madness!
  3. It's over? Finally! I'm happy Go All The Way won. Did another song top Cherry Bomb or did something else move up to second place? The Pina Colada song perhaps?
  4. I would've enjoyed being part of many different topics, mostly by "liking" them. I may have even jumped in from time to time. I'm just not much into "debate-gasms" as Wendy and others may be, but I've been known not to be shy. Religion though, I would've stepped away from.
  5. Here's my quote from my favorite song. "Blowin' down some windy street Feelin' so alone and incomplete" I think we've all felt this way. At least I have.
  6. Geesh, are you serious? OK then, I don't think this "Reader's poll" will ever end Cayennegirl, it's like the everlasting gobstopper that Williy Wonka hands out. There's no end it sight. I hope the correction helps.
  7. I don't think this contest will ever end Cayennegirl, it's like the everlasting gobstopper that Williy Wonka hands out. There's no end it sight.
  8. You're welcome. I'm sure it was my vote that pushed it over the edge and knocked the Runaways off from the top spot.
  9. I remember Wendy mentioning Cherrie Currie, the lead singer, when we worked together. I think Cherrie is married to the guy from Airplane, Robert Hayes. I barely remember The Runways, so I vote to kick them off of the top spot!
  10. Are they waiting to see who finally gets tired of voting and then there's a winner?
  11. I hope I'm in Louisville at that time since I go there often for business.
  12. Voted like a true American. Go All the Way it is.
  13. Happy Birthday Eric. I've heard very nice things about you and it looks like your writing ventures of the past are bringing in some nice recognition today. Hope you have a great day!
