Well done!
Kei Ogura is a famous singer-songwriter in Japan and he announced that he would be retiring after a career of 50 years this.

M45...Good to see you back here...
Thanks! I happened to find it's opened here again just yesterday. Sorry I'm not close to Aventurine and Hossy.

It’s great to see album covers from other countries...
There's Vol. 2, but I don't know where to get now. They're bootlegs.

"Who wants to hear a song called Long Live Rock 'n Roll from Eric Carmen"?
I'd like to have heard it more than Hungry Eyes and Make Me Lose Control back then. When I heard Billy Joel playing Highway To Hell on stage, all the audience enjoyed it extraordinary.

Thank you, Eric! So glad to hear the behind of the scene from you. And glad you're back to the forum

(UDO is No.1 music promotion company in Japan, Eric will knows well)
Well, I am afraid Eric wouldn't know Mr. Udo so well since his visits to Japan have never made by Udo Artists.
-
Now I finally understood why some members from Japanese fan club gave Eric a stuffed penguin doll with their messages written on its belly. Maybe they'd seen this picture.

What a gem, hossy! I remember the top 2 or 3 of the fan club attended the conference. Anyway, great found!!

Wishing all EC. com members in American a Happy Thanksgiving. Hope you are surrounded by family, friends and good times.

Very good job, hossy, for what you've said and done here.
Keep up the great posts!

Way to go, hossy!
I can't help thinking there must be more to come!!
All of us would appreciate it for sure.

Thanks for sharing the photos, hossy.
I do remember the photos in the fan club newsletters which were gone somewhere in the attic.
I'm so much impressed you've still had the newsletters in good condition. What a gem!

I've tried to watch it live on Yahoo, but too bad it wasn't available in Japan. Maybe I could see it sometime soon on Youtube.

Wow, thanks again, Bernie! By the way, I have a copy of Eric's Live in Japan 1980, but I don't know how to upload the film. If you could help, I'd be happy to send it to you.

Oh well, I should've gone to see Eric back then. I think there was one more signing at Tower Records. Old Japanese Fan Club members got a letter from the record company and it said when and where Eric came out, and they hoped that we all get together again. There was a FC reunion after signing, unfortunately without Eric. One of my friends sent me a VHS which I can't see anymore since I don't have a video deck now. So, thank you very much Bernie, I'm so glad to see Eric in Tokyo again!

I've been to her live for a couple of times so far, but unfortunately never heard her sing Eric's. It was 2 years ago the last time I saw her live. What I was most amazed was that she sang and danced for 2 hours long with pin heel shoes!

Here's another Boz for you.

Arianne is my favorite! I was lucky to see him live last year. It was very heartwarming.

This is my favorite song by Boz Scaggs. I love the second verse.

I still remember I heard that Eric said from his lips how much he loved Boats album when my friend got his autograph on it.
He wrote, “ I love this album! With love, Eric Carmenâ€.
