    New Puppy

That actually may NOT be such a joke, Tony! I really do have issues with the internet sometimes. The little lady continues to do well for us. Finally, we got housebreaking down to a T. Now to get her to understand that biting really hurts. She loves to gnaw on our hands, even though she had umpteen toys!

Sorry guys, but I have no idea how to post a picture of our dear little Star. I'll have to get my daughter to do so when she comes by sometime.

    New Puppy

So, we got a new puppy. An 8 week old beagle. So adorable. It's like starting over again with kids. Got to watch every move she makes. A bit naughty, but that is to be expected.

    What a day!

This time of year is such a crazy time for weather. Glad you and your dog enjoyed the snow, James. Oh and by the way, Craig, DO NOT become so desperate as to be a greeter at Wal-Mart! I must say, we customers do enjoy these warm days so we don't have to put the heat sky high. My son works for an oil company, so it's not too good for them!

    What a day!

Wow, I actually hung my wash out on the line today. 50 degrees in PA in the middle of Winter? Unreal for this time of year and the sun was so lovely. How's the weather in your little corner of the world?
  8. Happy belated Birthday, Bernie.
  9. Happy belated Birthday, Kim. Hope you had a fabulous day! Sorry I'm late.
  10. I seem to recall a few months back that I told you TJ was too young to be teething yet. Well, this woman stands corrected! How odd.I've never seen a newborn with teeth before. I guess they can cut teeth at any time.
  11. Oh, the suspense of it all. One more day, and we shall know. I love surprises and I am anxiously awaiting!
  12. Wishing our Christmas Girl a very Happy Birthday. Double the presents, double the celebration, double the fun!!!
  13. To everyone on EC.com - Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. God bless you all!
  14. I miss Christmases past. My grandma's sisters and their husbands would come for dinner and visit. Aunt Kathryn from Cleveland, OH, Aunt Emma from Philly, and Aunt Lollie (Laura) and her husband, Uncle Joe. They've all been gone now since the 1970's but I still think of those good ole days as a little girl seeing my great Aunts. Aunt Lollie and Uncle Joe lived in Long Beach, MD and they'd bring oysters up where my grampa would set a big cold tub with the oysters in and they'd all stand around eating, or should I say, SWALLOWING oysters in the cellar. One time I asked them how they can stand those awful things and they said, you don't chew them, you just swallow them down!
  15. Maybe it' a thing called "guilt"? Just guessing!
  16. So cute. I can just imagine this kitty thinking, 'All these gifts for ME?' Absolutely adorable.

    1. Cuddling my cat 2. Being with my kids and husband. 3. Phoning good friends. 3. Mostly the little things in life.
  18. Let me just say when I was young, I thought it would be heaven on earth to be an only child. My sister is 3 years older than me and my brother is 14 months older than me. They just thought they knew everything and I got sick of being the youngest. However, I will say now at my age, I'm grateful for my brother and sister.
  19. Birthday Blessings to you, Reid. Celebrate and enjoy your day!

I forgot to add our pets also. Cat Trixie, dog Jake and granddog, Jordi and grandcat, Jesse. They are loved too. Also gifts from God. Not only are they gifts to us, but we are gifts to them as well.

Why thank you, Ira. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family as well. There is no feeling quite as special as being loved and loving in return. I thank God always for my mom, husband, son, daughter and daughter-in-law. They are truly gifts from God!
  22. Happy Thanksgiving to one and all! We've had some disappointments this year, but we are all alive and healthy and we still have our house intact. As always, even under stressful conditions God has proved Himself to be worthy of our praise. We are thankful to Him for providing for us and giving us health and happiness. I hope that each one of you can think of something to thank God for this Thanksgiving. Enjoy your day!!! Can't wait to taste that terrific turkey and filling.

    Walk For Tourettes

I can feel for you, Wendy. As I stated before, my husband has tics also, however not TS. They still are bothersome for him and embarrassing sometimes because people do not understand his condition. I do not feel that making fun of such people is EVER appropriate and if your friends truly love you, they won't even think of making fun of you. You seem so sweet, Wendy. God bless you and take care of you!
