  1. Thanks Ira. You're so sweet. I highly doubt it'll ever come true, not because I don't have the talent, the energy, the drive, or persistence, it just feels like an illusion because I don't have the time, or know where to begin. I'd have to find somebody who can write music to match my vocals, or write my own, and as you know, I'm in school and I must focus on that. I might have been a musician a lot sooner had my father helped out. He was in the business all his life. Guess he didn't want his children in it. Yeah well he wasted his child's dream. That would be like ignoring your child's talent when they showed signs of being a gold medal gymnast. Quite frustrating, to say the least. Has caused me great pain in my older years. (you don't know how many times I've sat here listening to songs on youtube in tears thinking that should have been me.) Okay I've said my gripe for the day. Thanks for listening.
  2. It was a great song. I loved it. You guys should know that the world of lyrics is open to musicians. Anything goes...
  3. Times Square is where its at -- a fab place to be on New Years Eve, or any bar will do, lol. That was great seeing her up there. Thanks for posting DannyS. Everybody was great! OMG and guess who performed live?????? LIONEL RICHIE AHAHAHHAHAHAHA now what! DANNY YOU CUT OFF LIONEL!!
  4. My insane illusion for '09 is to become a rich and famous musician.
  5. Happy New Year EC members and EC and Raspbernie!

  7. Hey Bessie I just noticed the details of his show in the subject. ABC tv.
  8. Glad you found your thread. Yeah sometimes things get lost in here. It's a great photo and shows how great a night it was for all that attended.
  9. Maybe it's because he takes chili peppers in his coffee giving him ultra bad breath.
  10. Happy Anniversary to an L.A. woman from a previous L.A. woman. Happy Anniversary Wendyworld!
  11. Okay I'm sharing as I promised: http://s416.photobucket.com/albums/pp250/DaisyMcLintock/ It's an old video. I don't have any new ones and don't plan on making any new ones any time soon. I don't have that webcam anymore.
  12. Hey Wendy -- I went to your page just now and did not see the video link. Did you remove it again?? If you are willing, can you put it back up?
  13. Julia and Barbara I just came here to say thank you for your comments.
  14. LOL, Ecstasy. Yeah it doesn't take much brains to get a clean piece of paper!
  15. Ah hah! I just figured out why Eric doesn't like me -- Maybe he thought my writing on Lionel was a hack job. Well, it wasn't meant to be. I just wanted Lionel to know that rap wasn't his thing and if he's going to write more music to write more pop which is what his older fans like. Now that I reflect on that writing, who am I to say that rap isn't his thing? I enjoyed your post nonetheless, Eric. First let me say I'm sorry you had a bad experience with a young and inexperienced critic. I don't blame you for being angry and upset with that young boy. It really makes no sense for magazines to send out young and inexperienced writers to write professional reviews, especially as you say, when they don't even understand or like the genre. Your post makes me want to go out and start a new magazine. It would be filled with positive enjoyable reviews, stories, and photos. If I was a professional critic, the only genre I would probably have trouble with is rap. I guess I'd stay away from writing about that one, then.
  16. See, I told you they don't announce anything!!!! Make my life miserable, lol.
  17. JohnO - LOL. Hey Wendy a little scary ain't it? Funny but good comments can be just as frightening as bad ones, don't you agree? I didn't get the chance to see it. I'll trade you. Put yours up and I'll put mine up?
  18. Thanks for your reply, JohnO. Gosh, I'm still not sure I want to see something sad. I need as many perk-me-ups as I can get, lol, and I don't think this will be one of them. Have you seen any funny movies lately? Oh, I saw 4 Christmases and that was hilarious.
  19. Rourke to me has always been the sexiest man alive. I saw him in an interview for his new movie and he still looked sexy even in his maturity.
