FYI - I'll continue to check this thread for any merchandise and Meet & Greet questions, comments, etc. as often as I can. So keep 'em comin'!! Al P.S. BERNIE - As I am a giver, I have a poster for you.
-
Hi gang! More answers, questions, comments: The earrings will only be sold at concerts from now on. There is an issue with the supplier that prevents us from selling them online. BERNIE - did you get an AC poster to put on the merch site? I know Ken and Jim came over and got some, but don't know if you received one. The new t's are cut exactly like the old black and blue "oval" logo t's. The Lavender ladies 3/4 shirt is sized VERY small. If any of the sizes of the lavender shirt fit you OK then I'd go with the medium new T shirt - it's the smallest size we have. The new T-shirt IS silk screened, not an iron on. We may bring back the Carnegie Hall shirt - it was initially going to be a limited edition...but we've had so many requests to bring it back that we may do so...stay tuned. Thanks, Al

Thanks for your replies...here's some answers: Gary - the shirts are the same type as the older ones, so the sizes will run the same. Sally - you did NOT buy a new shirt at the concert. The only place you can get them is at the merch store online. We DO have medium! Argee - the poster IS also available online now, along with the new t-shirt and baseball cap. Keep those cards and letters comin', and I'll answer any questions you put on here! Thanks...Al

Check out the Raspberries store for two new items - a very cool "Reunion" t-shirt that features another very popular "Classic" Raspberries logo on front and what's become our unofficial catch phrase on the back: They said it would never happen. They were wrong. We now also have a very stylin' cap with the same logo embroidered on the front of this sandwich bill style cap. Check 'em out and let me know what you think! Thanks, Al

Julia - on behalf of the band and crew...The cake was tremendous! It didn't take us very long at all to put a serious dent in it! Thanks!

Here's the latest scoop - HOB swears that when the $100. seats were available online there was a notation that stated that these tickets included the M & G. Whatever. The best resolution I could make with HOB was to allow some additional $100.00 M & G tickets to be sold. These MUST be purchased by calling the HOB box office at 609.236.BLUE. The following info is also now on the Raspberries ticket site at HOB.com: For VIP Meet and Greet tickets stop by the House of Blues box office or call 609-236-2583. I CAN'T PROMISE ANYTHING HERE, SO PLEASE DON'T GET YOUR HOPES UP, BUT IF THOSE WHO ALREADY BOUGHT $57.00 TIX WILL SEND ME A PRIVATE MESSAGE AND LET ME KNOW HOW MANY YOU WANT I'LL TRY TO GET SOMETHING ARRANGED SO YOU CAN PAY THE $43.00 DIFFERENCE AND COME TO THE M & G. THIS IS FIRST COME FIRST SERVE - WE LITERALLY HAVE LESS THAN 20 TOTAL M & G TIX LEFT TO SELL, AND ANYONE WHO CALLS THE BOX OFFICE TO BUY THE $100.00 TICKETS WILL GET FIRST PRIORITY, PER THE HOB. Thanks, Al

REGARDING THE AC MEET AND GREET: To clarify - the $100.00 M&G tix anyone bought at HOB.com are the only way to get into the M & G. HOB totally runs the sale of these tix. HOB was (and still is) supposed to e-mail those who purchased tix with M & G details. The details I posted at the beginning of this thread are accurate. Here's some more details: I believe the soundcheck is at 2pm, so we're asking all M & Ger's to arrive at the club at about 12:30 (90 minutes prior to soundcheck). We'll get you organized for the M & G (give you a wristband, get you in line, etc.) which will begin about 1 hour prior to soundcheck (while Roadie #3 and co. are readying the stage for the band), or at about 1pm. You'll receive an autographed photo, get to meet and greet the band and have a photo taken by Gene. As with the NY M & G, the photos will be available about one week after the show in the "Meet and Greet" section of the "Raspberries" tab on EC.com. I hope this answers some of the questions and clears up some of the confusion. Thanks, Al

Hi everyone - I'm told there was some confusion around contradicting statements made by the venue (imagine that!!) about whether there are any more tickets available that include both the concert and the Meet and Greet...well there ARE still some tickets left!! And this is the new and improved Meet and Greet, which will be held Saturday AFTERNOON. You'll receive an autographed 8X10 color concert photo from the first reunion shows last fall, you'll meet and greet the band and have your picture taken by our photographer. Then you're invited to STAY AND WATCH THE SOUND CHECK, which should last about an hour!!! This is a very cool opportunity - Get your tickets while they're still available. Due to time limitations the band can't sign items you bring to the Meet and Greet. Also because of time limitations there can only be a limited number of M & G tickets sold, so when they're gone... Thanks, Al

Last Chance to get "classic" Raspberries logo T's and sweats!!
Al K replied to Al K's topic in That's Rock 'N' Roll
yes Julie...a few new goodies coming soon to a concert / online store near you!! -
Hi everyone - hope all is well! This is just to let you know that we're almost OUT OF STOCK on the Raspberries Blue and Black short and long sleeve T's and Sweats with the classic oval logo. They'll probably be gone before we leave Atlantic City...you can get them online in the "Store" at EC.com or on raspberries.net. We'll bring what's left to AC but when they're gone...they're gone! Hope to see you all in AC - make sure you find me and say Hi!! Al
-
You all hit on most of my favorites...but here's a few more: (Gotta Get A) Meal Ticket. Bite Your Lip (Get up and Dance). Medley (Yell Help/Wednesday Night/Ugly). Dan Dare (Pilot of the Future). Blue Eyes -not exactly obscure but not a big hit either...just great crooning. Kiss The Bride - again not exactly obscure but good fun. Touche on Ego and Curtains...and One Horse Town and Crazy Water.

VH1 told us the premiere was at 4:30 Saturday July 9th.

This is from last year's reunion concert!

Al K replied to Raspbernie's topic in That's Rock 'N' Roll
Hey Bernie...so if I somehow got you a copy of the unplugged songs the boys did on the air do you think anyone would be interested in listening to them on...oh I don't know ... maybe ... exclusively on EC.com??? -

...and to Marlene and everyone else - remember you will ALWAYS be able to buy t-shirts and other Raspberries merch at all the shows, plus in the "Store" or Merchandise" areas of both ericcarmen.com or raspberries.net. -
Denver…calling Denver…Are you there, Denver?
Al K replied to Raspbernie's topic in That's Rock 'N' Roll
Hi gang...and Hi Marlene. I'm just getting caught up myself after the trip. Yes, I was there, but doing lots of running around between my merch and publicity duties. Regretfully I just missed meeting you when you spent some time talking with Wally. Here's my recap - It was quite hectic and definitely could have been better organized but with these festival type shows things usually get backed up pretty quickly. The good news is that even after a sound check that was much more abbreviated than promised the band sounded fantastic - the actual attendance was just a little shy of 11,000. The set list was pretty much the same as in Waukesha except for the omission of "I Don't Know What I Want" due to time constraints placed on the band by the promoter. The best way to describe the sound of their set was "BIG" - big vocals, guitars, drums (Jim's drum fills were literally jumping out of the speakers and into the audience's faces - WOW!!). All of the bands were given the option of signing autographs of their merch items after their sets - EXCEPT Raspberries. Seems the area where the merch is sold and where the autographs were being signed had to be closed up shortly after Raspberries' set to get ready for the fireworks display that happened right after Little Richard's set...a major bummer to be sure since the band was definitely into signing for the fans. The consolation prize (which ended up being the brass ring for those lucky enough to have seen and heard it)was that we were able to set up an after show interview with the band that was broadcast live on Kool 105. The band was quite relaxed and very into the moment when DJ "Randy J" took a shot and asked them if they'd be up for an acoustic number. Much to many of those in the room's surprize the band agreed and the result was quite amazing. The totally impromptu performances of The Beatles "I'll Be Back" and the band's own "Nobody Knows" sounded great, with the spectacular harmonies (Go overdubs!!)and the "unplugged" format really showcasing just how much talent and "chops" this band has - especially considering this was done with no advance notice and after quite a long, hot, stressful day and evening. There is definitely a pattern forming here - every show has something special that makes that individual show a once in a lifetime experience. So with that in mind...I Hope to see you all in Cleveland and NYC!! Al -
I would definitely listen to that wise sage Raspbernie...

I gotta say we're in for an AWESOME show. It totally ROCKS! AND we get to hear a song we've not heard the original group do before...the song is... oops look at the time...gotta go pack up the merch...see you in Waukesha!! Al
