  1. Bernie, Thanks as always, for keeping the torch burning for all of us. Your efforts are very much appreciated!!! Any chances of signed copies this time?
  2. Let me forst say DWI is a dangerous situation...but.... I am re-posting this one on its own from the "Bad News" Top[ic...int hat no one knows anothers condition..so this was my comment to what I thought was some over-reaction: I too am concerned. But no one here ever had a six pack plus two??? Concern is one thing...but all of this psycho-analysis??? I don't agree with it at all.No one knows Eric's condition. So I would say wish him well. That's all! -------------------- Loving Raspberries In The 21st Century!

  4. Bernie, Thanks for being "The Keeper of the Flame". Your work keeps everyone plugged in so well!
  5. 1. My 8x10 Photo taken with the Raspberries (by Gene) 2. Raspberries Signed Deluxe CD/DVD (Sunset Strip) 3. Tonight (Signed by Eric)
  6. Know the feeling well.....waiting for 30 years to see these guys do their thing live. You won't be disappointed, Chris.
  7. I was kicking back this morning and pleasantly reminiscing on the great experience of seeing Raspberries live again, as we did last week in NY City. Here's what I learned: 1. DianeD was one of the first I bumped in to from this board, and was delightful..and gave us wonderful Raspberries Buttons... that she designed and made at her own expense for all of us. (Great touch Diane, Thanks!) 2. Lew Bundles is as funny in person, as the many posts I've read thru the years! Lew said "It's all down hill from here, let the craziness begin". 3. Marvin has full legendary rock star status. I saw him work the crowd myself. (And, Marvin I want photo credit for that shot I took of you and Eric). 4. Dave Smalley has recovered so well...and looked fantastically healthy, to my sincere delight. 5. Al K did a smooth job arranging the whole meet and greet for all of us, at a place that was a little chaotic, and maybe even a bit unfriendly in the beginning...(but they warmed up to the occasion along the way). 6. Eric was a wonderfully giving gentleman during the whole sound check and meet and greet...and Eric was never in better live voice than Saturday night, I thought. 7. Wally Rocks, as Always...(Find a better guitar player..I dare you!) 8. Jim keeps getting stronger on the drums, to my amazement. What a marvelous person, too. 9. Larry C and wife are simply delightful people. And both have the additional distinction of being fantastic Green Bay Packers Fans, which gives them even higher marks in my book! 10. Bernie Hogya and Ken Sharp are the true keepers of the Raspberries flame....keeping it burning bright through all of these years. 11. Missed Gene and his official camera to document this special weekend in New York City. 12. The Raspberries keep getting better with each show...stronger and tighter. Keep it going guys! Sincerely, Don
  8. Great to hear, Al. Thanks for all that you do to promote these worthy guys! And...Please bring the tour back to Atlantic City if it can be arranged. They are still talking about that special show, a few Septembers ago! Don
  9. America the night before, than Raspberries???...now you're talking! Two of my very favorits in a 24 hour period!!! What a wonderful world. See you in NY City.
  10. I was thinking "I Can Remember" may have been the best on the discs. All of the chord and tempo changes, recreating this sound seemed like it might have been one of the hardest to acheive. I am still blown away by this great effort!!! PS What's the Easter Egg??? Was a surprise hidden somewhere in this collection>?
  11. #30 of 300 arrived in New Jersey this morning (Friday). Great stuff. Wonderful job guys getting this done!!! Watching the full concert on DVD as we speak. Thanks to everyone involved for doing this for all of us. PS Does anyone remember a post a long time ago, asking for a limited, signed CD/DVD set to be created for this historic occasion??

  15. At least that Geffen album had "I'm Through With Love" on it. Worth it for just that alone.
  16. Hi Everyone...and thanks to all of you who listened and called tonight... We had a technical problem that disrupted the show about half way.....(hence the long run of music).... the good news: In recognition of the Raspberries first release in over 3 decades being released on July 24th...and to finish the Wally interview...(there is so much good stuff left)...we are airing a 2 hour Album Release Special on Saturday July 21st between 5:00 PM-7:00 PM (EST). The show will be a 2 hour, commercial free program....to kick this new album/DVD off right, and finish what we started tonight. You'll be able to listen again live at www.WIBG.com Thanks again for being a part of this special evening. I promise no technical problems this time either. Thanks again for making it a special evening... The best is yet to come! regards, Don Hurley
  17. Thanks for posting the info on the show Don K.... I am very happy with the interview with Wally. We are going to give you a great show! WIBG has a great history and continues to make more... We are looking forward to continuing to promote the excitemenet of what is to come with Eric, Wally, Dave and Jim... Stay tuned. All Good Wishes, Don
  18. House of Blues Atlantic City NJ..... Eric said it was the best mix of sound that he's ever heard in his ear.
  19. Don't things...(especially good things)...happen in their own time? I waited 30 or so years to finally see The Raspberries...so a few more months awaiting new music is short time in comparison. Try and work your own schedules...priorites..etc around 3 other individuals lives....it's not easy, I imaginekeeping it all together...so I am thankful for what's happened already and for what the future holds. I think the best is yet to come. Regards, Don
  20. I would say to get both books before they sell out. One for the history and one for the present day! Enjoy....
  21. That one song made the whole album worth while! Thanks Bernie..
  22. Bernie.... Great job again! My Telecaster arrived today with a beautiful autograph of Eric. This is a real keeper!!! Regards, Don
  23. A nice resolution to this whole thing. I'm happy that others will get to see and hear this great package!
  24. Thanks Bernie, (And Eric, too, for autographing these great items)! I am happy to have won a few of the signed items. Great job, Bernie.... you always deliver! Good Wishes, Don
  25. Bessie.... Maybe you might want to add the Ringo Starr All-Star Band CD...and the Dirty Dancing Soundtracks.
