Everyone watching Springsteen on the Today show?
John P replied to hollies65's topic in Cruisin' Music
Here is a couple Paspberries similarities with Bruce. Bruce has 2 songs titled "I wanna be with you" and "I'm a rocker" and Bruce's buddy Southside Johnny has a song called "On the beach". -
Madison Square Garden is simply the best!

Hi Stringer, Yes Lou will be at the Saturday night show. John

Anyone have a Raspberries tattoo? Is there anyone considering getting one? If you have one, where did it all come about and what kind of reaction do you get from people? I myself wouldn't dare consider it. John

The thing I'm confused with the VIP thing is when we enter the venue first do we stay inside for the remainder of the evening or do we go back outside and enter with the regular ticket holders? John

I'm glad that they aren't playing at HOB. Security there is too tight. They treat a Raspberries show like if its a rap or metal concert. I call HOB, HOFS. Take a guess what FS stands for.

"I can hardly believe your mine" pleeeeeeease!!!!! I'm begging!!!

I give it credit for being very modern sounding but it sure doesn't blow away anything from BTR or River. John

Time to get ready and save up the $'s for the shows. I saw 18 shows on "The Rising" tour and 26 shows overall. I wonder if the GA on the floor will be in effect. It's going to be a real pain in the neck to get tickets. Maybe the tour rehearsals will be once again in Asbury Park. If so, I'll be there to hang out. John

Happy Belated Birthday Eric and hope you enjoyed your first Birthday gathering with your fans. Thanks so much from the bottom of my heart for signing and posing for photos for me. Tried my best not to be a major annoyance to you. John

I had a strong premonition that Eric was going to show up. Kathy said that a big surprise was in store. John

Just got back from WAB'S it was a blast!!! Infinite thanks to Bernie and Kathy. John

A far cry from 1984 when I was alone in the dark as a Raspberries fan.

A great idea but I doubt it'll happen would be a in store cd signing appearance with all 4 Raspberries present that should be held in NYC and LA. In these 2 major cities they'd be able to sell 500 copies of "Sunset Strip" in each in store appearnce. John

Never got to see all 4 original members of Sweet. Only Andy Scott and Steve Priest got to see. Sweet are my heroes.

John P replied to Don H's topic in That's Rock 'N' Roll
Due to me not being very computer literate I missed this radio special. If anyone who is going to Bernies in 2 weeks and taped this show, I'll have a blank audio cassette or cdr on hand. Please!!!!John -

Wow "Cruisin Music" played at Shea for 2 straight days with over 50,000 people in the stands! John
-
At tonight's game at Shea Stadium what do I hear coming out of the loud speaker 15 minutes before the start of the game? "Cruisin Music" by The Raspberries! I fell over and couldn't believe it. Hearing a Berry song played at Shea is the last thing I would expect. Maybe in Jacobs Field you would. Glad that someone in the Mets organization has a ear for The Raspberries. John
