  1. Halloween is right around the corner. So I was wondering if any of you are going out, perhaps to a Halloween party or taking your kids trick or treating, what are you going as if anything? As for me, I've had my costume on reserve for over a month. I'm a geek I know. I went all out this year and rented one. I'm going to be (drumroll)...... Batman!
  2. I don't own a Hofner bass but I do have an Ep Casino (similar to the one Paul played on "Taxman" only without the Bigsby and in a cherry finish). It's got great tone but it's a little difficult to play higher up on the neck.
  3. Where's Lew Bundles?? He's standing right next to me
  4. My seat was right next to Lew Bundles. I had a good view of the Knicks champion ship banners. But I think the stage was all the way in New Jersey! I'd like to see him do a few more songs from Flaming Pie. Namely "Young Boy" and "The World Tonight". Also I'm a little bummed about him dropping "My Love" from this tour. That's always been one of my favorites.
  5. I was wondering if anyone else out there is a fan of singer/songwriter Wil Owsley. His first album is fantastic. His second has been out for a while and it's also exceptional.
  6. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I was at the show last night in Atlantic City and met a few of you. But due to all those years of video games and cartoons my memory isn't what it used to be. Damn you Playstation!!
  7. My top concerts.... Paul McCartney (Fleet Center, Boston. October 2002) I was in the upper level but we were really close to the stage. Great show. The Replacements (Toad's Place, New Haven CT) The only club show they did that tour. They played 2 hours SOBER! Unbelievable. The Raspberries (B.B. King's NYC) we all know why of course. Paul McCartney (Madison Square Garden, NYC December 14th, 1989) The Flowers in the Dirt tour!! I was in the back of the Garden and I think I still owe somebody money for that one. Cheap Trick (Too many times to count, not all of them were good but dammit I love them!!). I've also seen; Matthew Sweet Material Issue The Posies The Ramones The Smithereens Fountains of Wayne ...and a few more I can't recall at the moment.
  8. Greetings true believers and new comers alike. I'd like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Robb and I'm living here in the New Haven, CT area. I met a couple of you at the two shows in New York at B.B. King's. For those who might remember I was the guy who made the CD for a particular young lady...in the words of Forrest Gump; and that's all I have to say about that. Anyway I've finally signed up for the message board and I'd like to say that I'm looking forward conversing with all you on the forum. Thanks everyone. Robb
