Oh, I forgot the best Christmas song ever recorded: The Little Stinkers version of "I Farted on Santa's Lap (Now Christmas is Going to Stink for Me)." A true classic. Still available on itunes.

We have a bunch of Christmas CDs, and to be honest, I only like a handful of songs. Springsteen's Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Bryan Adams' Run Run Rudolph, and the Ramones' Merry Christmas (I Don't Wanna Fight Tonight). One CD I love is called something like a Live Christmas Extravaganza. It was a benefit show at the Stone Pony from maybe 10 or 15 years ago, headed up by Glenn Burtnick. It's got Marshall Crenshaw, Willie Nile, Lenny Kaye, and a bunch of other people that I can't remember. That gets played a lot every year. Regarding Raspberries doing a holiday song, how about covering Big Star's "Jesus Christ"?

I got the book yesterday. I have to agree with most of their Top 10 choices. Definitely "Starting Over", Badfinger's "Wish You Were Here", and Tommy Keene's "Songs From the Film" should be in there. Speaking of Tommy Keene, he said on his message board that he was at the Raspberries show in Anaheim, and he said they were "awesome."

Well, while Mary Ann, Samantha Stevens, and Geenie were all pretty hot, my first crushes were Susan Cowsill and Eve Plumb.

60%. And most of them were guesses.

This has nothing to do with 12 string guitars, but I saw the Searchers in 1983 at the Chestnut Cabaret in Philly and it was one of the absolute best shows ever. There couldn't have been more than 75 people there and you would have thought they were playing in front of 10,000. They played two completely different hour + long sets with lots of good stories in between. And they played a lot of songs from their two outstanding Sire albums from 1980 and 1981. I just thought I'd throw that in.

Since I really didn't follow much top 40 stuff during the 90's, I'll mix in some of my favorite album tracks. It was great to hear "All By Myself" at the show Saturday night. I'm curious about the dynamic behind the decision to add solo material to the show. Is there any consideration of any additional solo material being added to the setlist - either Wally's, Dave's or yours? (I guess "It's Cold Outside" could be considered a solo song as well). Thanks. Oh, more importantly, I would really hate to see this series go back to Boston. Let's hope they end before midnight.

If I was Eric, my only regret would be that they didn't insert "I Can Hardly Believe You're Mine" into Saturday's set list.

Just wondering if there will be any additions or changes to the setlist in NYC. Personally I'd love to hear "I Can Hardly Believe You're Mine", "Might As Well", and "Cruisin' Music."

I prefer a small club to any of the bigger places. I thought the HOB in Cleveland was great. It had great sound, and plenty of room for standing in front of the stage. I really didn't like the tables in front of the stage at BB Kings. What a waste of space. Favorites: TLA - Philly (old theater with no seats) Troc - Philly (old burlesque house - Marshall Crenshaw called it "a swell dump." The Art Museum - DC (it was a great place) 9:30 Club - DC (just feels like rock n roll) Big Mans - Red Bank (I know it closed years ago, but it was a great place to see a show) and finally... The Empire Rock Room in N.E. Philly. Another sweaty rock and roll bar.

...or adding a few songs from their own library, such as "I Can Hardly Believe You're Mine" or "Might As Well"? If they do, let's hope it's on Saturday night since I can't make the Sunday show.

Lost a lot of respect when I heard they ripped off a lot of their songs without giving credit to the real songwriters. Dazed and Confused was a direct rip.
