  1. Both of his solo tours? I will be there too. Saw him in Cleveland & Pittsburgh last time and in Cleveland along with 199 other people in a club in Cleveland for the Out of the Cradle tour.

    BRAIN TEASERS

    32) typo? 15 men on a dead man's chest 34) 4 wheels of a car
  3. Michael Stanley Band's version of "Will You Love Me Tomorrow" on "Stagepass" is in amazing performance. Nilsson's "Without You" the Badfinger original doesn't hint at how a great song it really is.
  4. Its a 2 hour drive from Pittsburgh to Cleveland. Why bother with flying?
  5. Their CD is called Freedom Wind. An amazing replication of the Beach Boys sound (mostly the period beginning with Pet Sounds). You have to hear this CD.
  6. Seinfeld theme should be disqualified. I once saw a piece on the guy that did the music for the show - its done on a keyboard. Stand By Me - Ben E. King (player?) Dock of the Bay - Otis Redding (the great Duck Dunn I believe) Rain - Beatles The Joker - Steve Miller Band Under Pressure - Queen & Bowie (John Deacon) Sloop John B - Beach Boys (Carol Kaye) Thank You Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin - Sly & Family Stone (Larry Graham)
  7. You're confusing the Panozzo twins and the Porcaro brothers. The late John Panozzo was Styx's drummer. His twin brother Chuck plays bass for Styx. The late Jeff Porcaro has been cited by Eric as one of his favorite drummers to work with. He and his brother, keyboardist Steve, were among the studio session musicians who started Toto. A third Porcaro brother, Mike, officially joined Toto on bass starting with their huge "IV" album.
  8. A lot of people saying the guy is taking advantage of your hospitality. Look at it this way, he's not a house guest. He's a renter. Its a business arrangement. And that may be all he feels it is. He's got an affordable place to live and it fits his lifestyle. Just be honest and tell him you have plans and need the room. It will be an incovenience to him but if he takes it personal and gets upset you have no reason to feel guilty.

  11. Its going to be odd not seeing him on those risers on the left side of the stage.
  12. The lyric sheet in "The Rasperberries Best featuring Eric Carmen" album way back when said he felt so very optimistic. "But I swear it sound like he says..."
  13. Lets see if I can do this without live albums or best ofs. Tusk - Fleetwood Mac The River - Bruce Springsteen The Wall - Pink Floyd White Album - Beatles Goodbye Yellow Brick Road- Elton John
  14. What I did wayback when I started learning is get a guitar book with a variety of songs. The chord changes usually are represented with a diagram showing the fingering. Find a simple song with maybe 1 chord you havent mastered yet and learn and practice. Do this a bit at a time and you'll know a lot of chords and songs before you know it. Learn a new chord and use it to write your own song. Big suggestion since you know G-C-D learn e minor next. It only takes 2 fingers and G-em-C-D will let you play a lot of songs from the 50's.
  15. I think E Street guitarist, Springsteen side-kick, Sopranos star and garage band music afficiando/DJ Steven Van Zandt puts together those pre-show music sets.
  16. It was Anthony himself actually. He only has his millions to console him.
  17. Well be fair. Cover band = small club, Springsteen = arena. And a safe bet that 90%+ of those going to see tribute band will be at the real Bruce show.
  18. Burrows sang the lead vocals on several hit songs under different group names including Edison Lighthouse's "Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes)", White Plains' "My Baby Loves Lovin'", The Pipkins' novelty song "Gimme Dat Ding", The First Class' "Beach Baby" and The Brotherhood of Man's "United We Stand"
  19. But that isnt their only hit nor even their biggest. That would be the fantastic "Reflections of My Life"
  20. Disposable income to spend on popular culture entertainment: young people have it, older people have better things to do with their money. Thus popular culture entertainment is aimed towards those most likely to feed the monster.
  21. New Kid In Town Waiting In The Weeds The Last Resort One of These Nights Peaceful Easy Feeling
