  6. 5 - None 6 - Three 10 - There is no Pink and no Floyd.
  7. For me, it's the YULETUNES compilation, hands down. Power poppin' holiday sounds from the likes of Matthew Sweet, Material Issue, Shoes, The Spongetones and many others.
  8. I said raspberries.net, not ec.com, big fella...
  9. Funny, the divisive, petty, grandstanding garbage that often occurs at Raspberries.net was almost the reason I STOPPED accessing the web.
  10. I just tried it and it worked fine.
  11. Yes, they're a very talented group from TX that has played the IPO festival a number of times. They have quite a few good albums, including 1999's DOWNTOWN SHANGRI-LA and 1997's BLUE CARTOON, the latter of which was produced by 20/20's Ron Flynt. Those two are the best, in my opinion. Good pop mixed with a bit of roots rock, a la Bill Lloyd (whose songs they cover, by the way).
  12. Yeah, kinda like rat poison is an "acquired taste."
  13. Oh, and anything by Lou Reed, Frank Zappa and Glenn Frey.
  14. I'll see your Miami Sound Machine and raise you a Grateful Dead.
  15. Anything by Blood, Sweat and Tears Anything by Van Morrison Anything by Emerson, Lake and Palmer Anything by Yes Anything by Stevie Nicks "Vehicle" by Ides of March "Long Train Runnin'" by The Doobie Brothers
  16. For those so inclined to be looking for something VERY COOL of the bubblegum-type persuasion, might I point you in the direction of: http://www.notlame.com/Right_To_Chews/Page_1/NLBUBB1.html 25 tasty, tried and true bubblegum nuggets - and ONLY EIGHT BUCKS! Such a deal! End of commercial.
  17. Different song, same title, Phil...
  18. If I never hear any of these again, it'll be too soon: * Anything by The Doors * Anything by U2, post-1984 or so * Anything Sammy Hagar ever "sang" on * Most of Sting's solo spewing * "Peaceful Easy Feeling," "Lyin Eyes," "One of These Nights," "Hotel California," "Witchy Woman" and a zillion other Eagles "favorites." (I'll take "Take It Easy," "Already Gone," "Desperado" and that's about it, thanks.) And many, many more....
