  5. 'Clean the slate, in Twenty-0'Eight" i say....
  6. I would love to quit smoking....and also learn how to say 'no'....No is a word I very seldom use,and I think it's time to start using it occasionally.....
  7. A book by my "Other Favorite Eric"..... Clapton...
  8. I was never a big Carlo Wolff fan...His book has a few "clams" in it too...
  9. Even though Im not a Country fan, if you want to hear "riff stealing" at its best, listen to "today's country music"....
  10. HT, Trindy, and Bessieboo....it was nice meeting all of you too.next time, maybe we'll all get a chance to talk !
  11. I've been very nice....with some naughty "thoughts" though.....does that count?
  12. Im a friend of their long time Sound engineer...he "may "have some old stuff......
  13. In defense of WNCX, the 2:00 album side was all Raspberries live music.....but the Zepp was a poor choice after the interview. They should have doen the 2:00 album side Zepp....and vice versa....
  14. Now my two cents.... First of all, I would like to personally say, that everyone I have met on this board, has been genuine, considerate, caring and very friendly. After exchanging pleasantries in the aisle with many many people, the lights dimmed and the first chords were strummed, I practically dove into my seat.Sorry to a few that were on the Aisle, I may have stepped on your toes~.The Mix was fantastic.I was a dozen rows up, centre stage, lined up with Jim's kick drum.I could hear every nuance, every guitar part from Billy and Paul, and every vocal. This was a performance to remember.Everyone was in "top form",(yeah there were a few"clams" here and there, but this is live. The clams were covered well, which shows the professionalism. "If you change your mind" made me cry, 'All by Myself", made me totally lose it. I also want to take the time to personally thank Dianed, for making me laugh uncontrollably all weekend, and all the "IM NEVVA EVVA DOIN THIS AGAIN"(s)because of the weather situations. Also,My Cousin Paul Sidoti for everything he does for me.He gives 110% all the time. I love you !
  15. I hate to blow the Friday nite high, but just heard that Danny Fogelberg passed away this morning
  16. I think he sounds better now than ever.
  17. To all my friends on the board, Its true, its very hard to say hello to everyone, especially not knowing faces! And those tacky "Hello my name is " stickers were totally out of the question!I just want to say a big hello to everyone who was at Otto Moser's, as well as the people who I DID get the opportunity to shake hands with. There are nothing but "good people" here, and it was an evening that will be etched in my brain for a lifetime. Danny Sidoti
  18. Joe is here now, we were going to see who is gonna be around fri before the show, sat looks like going to the Rock hall.As the phone calls come in, I'll keep you posted.
  19. I worked with a person, a few years back, who "played guitar"(well he thought he could)...much different than a Guitar"Player"(Ive been at it since 1965), He thought Page was the "Greatest" ever.He bet me a weeks pay that I couldn't play the live version of "Since Ive Been Loving You"from the Song Remains the Same movie...I said"do you want it WITH or WITHOUT all the mistakes"..needless to say he still owes me a weeks pay...
  20. Jimmy Page, Is still ths 'sloppiest" live guitarist. Now he sounds even sloppier, tuned down a half step.....
  21. karaoke? id rather sit with a loaded 45 in my mouth.....
  22. Bravo! well said...."stored away the bits"....I mean Anyone, can sit back and say"that sounds like this" etc.To those"people" I say "well go write a song"....that usually shuts them right up.
