  1. Take your time...remember its not a race. learn at your own pace.LISTEN to what you play.Even single notes.learn "voicings"by ear.(learn what an open e, and a fretted e sound like.(same note, different voicing....)a little each day, and always finish your rehearsal on something you learned previously....

  8. Ive been home a half hour, and about an inch has fallen since. The forecast calls for 3-6 inches tonite. Gas and electric companies? What a bunch of thieves..I got "estimated" readings on both this month...and of course they estimate high.I sent them what i call 'estimated" payments.Usually 60% of what they bill me....This totally pisses them off. This gets their meter reading people out the next month in a heartbeat....Hey they've got more money than I do.
  9. We were able to trace back to a woman who was an officer in Garibaldi's Army. She supposedly looked like a gorilla.Hence the joke:Whats the difference between a Sicilian Grandmother and a Gorilla?..........The Black Dress....~! True story....Both of them....Ha!
  10. I would love to be Ernie! The hard workin' backstage guy, who gets to handle all those expensive guitars....and never has to worry about being on camera!

  12. Since 'making the turn, and heading out on the back nine of life", I have become a candidate for a double hip replacement.Ron, (Paul's Dad), had both his hips replaced. It runs in my family. So i do alot of walking, both at work and at home. The more I walk, the better my hips feel.I have tried Bicycling, and sometimes I can do it without pain.I used to lift weights, but I do alot of heavy repetative lifting at work.In my free time, I really like lifting a rocks glass full of good single-malt Scotch, or my Favorite Gibson Les Paul.
  13. Julie.. With deepest sympathy, my prayers to you and your family. Danny
  14. I believe it was called "Festival Seating".What a horrible scenario.I was in a crowd once that "pushed"..Its a terrible feeling when you have no control, and get pinned between people. and i thought I read that the doors opened inward upon exit?Soon after that terrible incedent, The state fire marshall made it law to have doors push outward on exit, in public buildings.
