the lyrics of the middle part;

And it's like I'm just talking through a cell door
Some one give me a clue"
Most are right but I can't sing it with these words.
right or wrong I always thought; "... But I can't make a move with them on my back."
The "WHEN THEY SAY IT MUST STOP..." line, NONE OF THAT MAKES ANY SENSE TO ME.
Then I thought; "Everyone keeps talkin' in a circle" for the "...cell door" line.
So if you're going to talk to Eric, it would be nice to clear that up for me.

Hey Bernie,
I looked at the lyrics for the middle section of "I Don't Know What I Want" and it just doesn't jive with me.
Are they correct?

While on the subject of songs that didn't make a movie.
Remember the movie Heroes with Henry Winkler and Sally Fields?
At the end, after the dramatic flashbacks of Vietnam and she's crying holding him the song "Carry On My Wayward Sons" starts blasting and the movie just came together and the song made more sense than ever.
I bought the VHS and they changed the song to some song called "Heroes" that might as well have been "Feelings" on acoustic guitar.
My brother just saw it on cable and said "Carry On" was back in. Whew!

I'm surprised nobody likes the first solo album.
Right off the heals of the Raspberries. It was great. It rocked, it bounced, it mellowed.
There are times in a writers life where the stars line up and you can maintain a thought and end one line with "me and you" and the second line with "you and me."
The greatest middle part is; "We'll stick together like the moon and the night time, happy forever I will spen my lifetime so in love with My Girl."
Let's hear it for the first solo album.

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone remember a Saturday morning television show called "HOTDOG?" I swear that's what the show was called. Anyway, they would do mini documentaries on how, for example, a baseball bat was made, and they would have comments by people like Woody Allen and JoAnn Worley. Well I remember them showing in the studio with the Raspberries doing things from "Fresh" and the song "Tonight."
Does anyone know about this? Is it available?

I'm a Raspberries fan from way-back when I bought a bootlegged 8-track on the boardwalk in Atlantic City. The best $1.39 I ever spent!
