  1. I seriously doubt that this incident is going toincrease record sales.
  2. No, i was in the mezzanine half way up the first base line. Three Phillies in the back were up and drinking and around the sixth inning all hell broke loose leading to their ejections. I seen the action going on in the upper deck later in the game. looks like they sent 100 security up there! Let's Go Mets -- Shea is the home field advantage but let's not have any more of these brawls -- it's scary to be a few rows from one of these, I'm getting too old for this crap. Good thing I didn't have my 14 year old daughter with me.
  3. Jeez....thank God no one got hurt. My prayers go out to Eric and his family at this time.
  4. I was at the game Sunday night too -- some big fights in my section. 3 philles fans tried to take on three rows of Mets fans. All 3 were ejected. It got a bit crazy there for awhile.
  5. Sorry I'm late -- Happy Belated Birthday Tony C. Cheers, Billy
  6. Sorry I'm late Darlene, Happy Belated Birthday -- I hope you had a great day!
  7. We got some work to do folks. Thanks for the numbers Marc.
  8. Happy Bithday Ron! All the best to you. Cheers, Billy
  9. Best wishes Laura for a Happy Birthday!!! Cheers, Billy
  10. I'm so glad to hear Boston sounds great -- Tommy Decarlo -- quite a story -- from Home Depot to lead singer. Thank You for the review.
  11. Like you Darlene, I jumped here at work when I saw the title of this out on the home page!! Well, the pictures are cool. Thanks Bernie.
  12. Good point Beatnut. I heard over 10,000 attended practice yesterday and Brett unleashed a few 50 yard throws!
  13. More importantly, do the Jets have the offensive line to support Brett? A few break downs, some INTs thrown into traffic and the honeymoon is over.
  14. I'm a Packer fan, always will be but I'll be keeping a close eye on Brett. I'm still a fan. He said at his press conference "I'm a Packer and always will be"...that was cool. On to the Aaron Rodgers era...let's strap it up and get it on!!!
  15. I remember Brett saying that there was a few reasons why he retired back in March and there was one which he didn't want to discuss --- I think there is some type of friction between Brett and some of the higher ups -- Ted Thompson perhaps. Also, I had heard last week that Brett had no interest in playing for the Jets, and suddenly he is there. You don't suppose the Vikings will put together one of those Herschel Walker trades and get Brett?
  16. I guess if Lombardi can leave and go to the Redskins then Brett can leave for the Jets. Got to feel sorry for Aaron Rodgers at this point -- what shoes to fill. Anything less than 10 wins and they will be looking for his head! I'm a Packer fan first...Favre fan second.
  17. ESPN reports Brett is a Jet. Jeez, I'm going to be sick. Go Pack Go.
  18. Best Wishes for a happy and healthy birthday! Have fun. Cheers, Billy
  19. Excellent review. Thanks for putting this up.
  20. Billy

    pet prayer

Chris - God Bless you and Rascal.
  21. This is great --- I know what I'll be watching Jan 1 and it won't be the Sugar Bowl. Hockey in Wrigley --- how cool is this!!!
  22. As far as Ted Thompson drafting Aaron Rodgers, this was done only because he was the best available athlete on the board at the time. The Packers never thought he would still be available at pick number 24 (maybe it was 23, but it was somewhere around the 20's). At the time they picked Rodgers, Brett was also talking that the coming season may be it for him. He did that alot...I'm thinking Thompson thought he better cover the organization's butt and have someone in the wings in case Brett did follow through on his retirment plans. As far as the discussions with Minnesota, Brett is communicating with Darrell Bevelle (not sure if I spelled that right) who is a former Packer coach now on Minnesota's staff. That was all over ESPN last night.
