  1. Ahh... but do you have "Hawaiian Shirt Fridays"?
  2. Thanks for the info, Helen!! I have Pop Art Live but I haven't played it in quite a while. Now I have a reason to dig it out again!! I do know that the "Bonus Tracks" (a.k.a. the tracks otherwise available only on the vinyl release) are on Spotify (and I've listened to 'em plenty) are they also available on iTunes?
  3. Dunno who Tommy Allen is but I second this emotion!! Would LOVE to hear the rest of this!!
  4. Raspberries: I Wanna Be With You Solo: Change Of Heart
  5. - "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" (Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell) & "What's Going On" (Marvin Gaye) both courtesy of the Incomparable James Jamerson (my humble vote for the Greatest Bassist of All Time, if I may be so bold) - "Rio" (Duran Duran) played by John Taylor - "Le Freak" (Chic) played by Bernard Edwards (shoot, ANYTHING played by Bernard Edwards is an education in Bass 101 Master Class)
  6. One of the things I look forward to every year are the goodies that Santa Bernie would leave for us. He's never let us down before and he certainly didn't this year, either. With this being said, I wouldn't have complained One. Single. Bit. if that vision of loveliness pictured in Susie B's post was under my tree as well. Just saying.....
  7. Granted, this is one person's opinion so I'll give them that and I won't get too worked up over it. However, to have a "Funniest Movies of All Time" and "National Lampoon's Animal House" missing from it completely invalidates this list for me.
  8. Damn, this guy simply does not age. He still looks great and delivers each and every time.
  9. My post has absolutely nothing of value to add in this topic other than to say that, in my book, "Zenyatta Mondatta" is the coolest album title in the history of all recorded music.
  10. But you just talkin' 'bout Shaft!
  11. Ahhh.... Different stokes for different folks.
  12. Official as in "open to the public"? I'd say the last date of the Raspberries' Tour. Official as in "last time on stage"? I'd say the private show the Raspberries did at the Rock Hall.
  13. I poke my head in from time to time. Mostly lurking but chiming in from time to time as well.....
  14. This made my entire week and the week's not even over yet!! This rules, times one thousand.
  15. For Whatever It's Worth (and, believe me, it's not) lists like this cause me to post my own "Top 10". However, to make it interesting here are my all time Top 10 American Rock & Roll Bands: 1. Cheap Trick & The Ramones (tie) (after these two, the remaining eight fluctuate - the biggest word I've used all day - and are in no particular order here) - The Replacements - The J. Geils Band - Raspberries - Van Halen - Kiss - Bruce Springsteen & The E. Street Band - Alice Cooper - The Pretenders (due to my obsessive crush on Chrissie Hynde) Now, if one wishes to add non-American Rock & Roll Bands to my all time fave Rock & Roll Bands you could include: - The Rolling Stones - Hanoi Rocks - Manic Street Preachers - Thin Lizzy - Motorhead As one would expect, mileage may vary depending on the vehicle and the driver so, please, respect the road..... (All of the above is the result of finding a few Great Lakes Christmas Ales in the 'fridge tonight and having them for dinner.....) :-)
  16. I have the "Berry Berry Good" bootleg but it's been ages since I've listened to it. Pretty sure I have the Agora '74 show as well. If I remember correctly it was a radio broadcast.
  17. Which House of Blues venue was this? The layout (what I could make of it) looks a lot like Cleveland. However, I don't ever recall a time what we had padding on our barriers.
  18. Somebody told me there was a party going on over here!! I'll get the Buffalo Wings, who's getting the beer & pizza?
  19. Here's my Top-10 reprinted, uh, I mean, copied from AllMusic.com: All Time Favourite Eric Carmen Songs "Change of Heart" "Never Gonna Fall In Love Again" "Haven't We Come a Long Way" "Isn't It Romantic" "Foolin' Myself" "My Girl" "She Did It" "End Of the World" "Hey Deanie" "Living Without Your Love"
  20. As much as I love most of the Raspberries catalog (and, believe me, I do) a time where I couldn't listen to the "Change of Heart" album (along with other assorted gems) again just simply isn't fathomable to me. At all. Just sayin'
  21. This'll be an interesting one as I only own two Beach Boys CDs and three Beatles CDs. Wish me luck here!! - Don't Worry Baby (Beach Boys) - Wouldn't It Be Nice (Beach Boys) - California Girls (beach Boys) - Help Me, Rhonda (Beach Boys) - Little Saint Nick (Beach Boys) - I Wanna Be With You (Raspberries) - Let's Pretend (Raspberries) - Nobody Knows (Raspberries) - Last Dance (Raspberries) - Cruisin' Music (Raspberries) - She Loves You (Beatles) - Tell Me Why (Beatles) - I'm Just Happy To Dance With You (Beatles) - I Want To Hold Your Hand (Beatles) - Nowhere Man (Beatles)
  22. OK, I'll bite here: - I Wanna Be With You (Raspberries) - Let's Pretend (Raspberries) - Silly Love Songs (Wings) - Listen To What The Man Said (Wings) - Take It Away (Paul McCartney) - My Love (Paul McCartney) - Change Of Heart (Eric Carmen) - Never Gonna Fall In Love Again (Eric Carmen) - Mama Can't Buy You Love (Elton John) - Saturday Night's All Right For Fighting (Elton John) ... how's that?
  23. Hey Everybody! Got the new Kyle Vincent CD, "Whatever It Takes" in the mail yesterday and it's terrific!! In reading the credits both Wally & Jim play on several cuts: "Bubblegum Baby" and "Osaka (Maido!)" and Jim also plays on the song "Whatever It Takes" as well. There's also a photo of the three of them included for your viewing pleasure (the same pic that was posted some time ago). Maybe I'm biased because KV is a friend but, I have to say, this is a GREAT album! It's like a classic 70's pop album with lots of catchy melodies and treats to notice if you listen in headphones! Anyways, just wanted to bring it to everybody's attention because I'm considerate like that! https://www.kylevincent.com/shop Cheers, Everybody! JS
