  1. I just ordered the CD today...did not realize it existed until your post, so thank you very much for that.
  2. Eric: I graduated from Brush High School, as did you, but don’t get back to Cleveland all that often anymore (although I did indeed attend the Raspberries reunion shows). But this weekend I was visiting my Mom, and while driving down Gates Mills Boulevard I sensed a tremendous presence of creative energy. Hadn’t ever noticed that before on previous trips…I can only assume this means you in the process of finalizing the release of more excellent music!!! Can’t hardly wait!!!
  3. Nice...thanks for posting.
  4. An excellent question...many of us are looking forward to this release.
  5. Not a bad deal for $85 for those who don't already have these. But, what we need is a NEW album!!!
  6. Ooops...that would be cdjapan.co.jp
  7. This is the CD to get, rather than the American version. Got mine the other day from cdjapan.com
  8. Those Atlantic City casinos have dug their own grave, certainly helped by the spread of gambling across the country. Blackjack there was fabulous when they first opened, but after Ken Uston and others cleaned them out the rules changed and the odds became abysmal.
  9. Yep...I'll be in that line too...sure hope a tour comes about...even just a handful of dates would be great. Then there is always the postponed Severence Hall extravaganza!
  10. Wow...great deal for the Japanese buyers.
  11. Eric...Top Notch all the way. An Excellent product! It is easy to see a lot of quality time and thought went into making sure this release was superb in every way.
  12. Eric: Thank you for Brand New Year, and the detailed explanation of how it was conceived. You still have the magic, and I know I speak for all of your fans that we hope you continue to compose and perform in the future. I hope you had a great Christmas, and wish you the very best for 2014. -Art
  13. The new "essential" album, with new song, is just a great career achievement for Eric. Where does he go from here: Sit back, relax, enjoy retirement. Nothing wrong with that...he has earned it. Unable to resist the lure of the studio, he rides his recent success with new material. He books Severance Hall and puts on the performance of a lifetime. Fun to speculate, but one thing for sure, Eric has brought great joy to so many lives that whatever he does, I am just so happy for him and this upcoming release, which is certainly the celebration of an incredible career, and an even more incredible human being.
  14. I remember when I was 11. Beatles '65 was released.
  15. I like that...Professor Carmen. There are going to be some pretty lucky students!
  16. Picture this: March 2014 rolls around. Eric's new album is released spanning his career, topped off by 2 brand new tunes. Eric appears in concert (long overdue) at Severance Hall. Gonna be a great year!
  17. March 11, 2014. A date that will live in Rock 'n Roll history!!! In this there can be no doubt.
  18. Eric: The thought of you writing/recording 1-2 new songs is just mind boggling....this will be great!! You may be older than you were when the Essentials songs were recorded, but you have a truly unique talent that transcends age. I am confident you will do fine, and look forward to hearing the result! Thanks very much for being who you are. You mean more to us than you will ever know.
  19. Eric: This is great news, and thank you very much for the detailed description of the process and the songs. I am really looking forward to this cd!! And from a selfish point, I sure hope those 1-2 new songs make an appearance......could be that you are starting over again!!!! Thanks very much and good luck with the project. -Art
  20. Looking forward to these two releases, and hope others (old and new) follow!!! Go Eric!!!
  21. I see the interview has now been posted on You Tube. Much better...cuts out the commercials!
  22. Eric: In all due respect, there may be one more regret that I (all of us) hope you can prevent. That would be performing at Severance Hall. I know you had that scheduled once, and it sure could be great to see it finally happen. I will be first in line for that event (that is, if I can beat all the other maniacs to the ticket booth!!) What do you think? -Art
