Hello Everyone. Just wanted to wish all you Chicago concert-goers a safe, fun trip. As for me, I just got back into my home after a horrific ice storm ravaged my town forcing Ohio Governor Bob Taft to declare it a disaster area. Power was out for 6 days and I and my family had to evacuate. Basement flooded and falling trees and limbs did major damage. I have been quite busy with plumbers, electricians, tree service personnel and power company workers. What Fun! Can't wait to hear about the concert! Betsey

Oh Darlene, please, no, not that! It looks like it's just not gonna happen for me this time. My oldest son has an important swim meet out of town on the 30th, and my second oldest has a wrestling tournament also out of town a few hours later on the same day. My husband still wants to do the Sandusky thing. Way too much traveling. What's with these Berries and holidays? Please, I'll do anything! No Wetsy! Betsey

Annie, now Hubby is insisting that on New Year's Eve we take the kids to Great Bear Lodge which is an indoor water park in Sandusky. Do you know how close that is to Cleveland? Ahhhh, so close and yet so far away! BUT, perhaps I could slip away to Cleveland while they are sloshing around in the water, and come back after the show. This is agonizing! Betsey

Oh God Annie---don't do this to me! I can't imagine what my four sons will do if I take off on another holiday! They'll put me up for adoption, or sell all of my belongings. It sure is tempting. Oh no, what do I do now? Husband is working, but maybe I could bring kids with me and find something to keep them occupied in the hotel. Now I won't be able to sleep tonight as I ponder the possibilities. Thanks a lot, Annie!

I was lucky enough to exchange a few words with Eric's lovely wife, Susan, who was with Clayton and Kathryn, along with her parents and Eric's parents. I asked Clayton if he was proud of his daddy and he gave a huge smile and nodded. Susan said that Eric was not the least bit nervous before the show but she was. WOW! Betsey
