On the Occasion of the 10th Anniversary of EC.Com

Bernie

You must be pleased and proud of all your hard work. Something alike to the feeling of when one your children pass a milestone.

You have made a fun friendly meeting place for people with the common interest of Great music. It is a place to learn and exchange ideas and most importantly create friendships.

Congratulations on your first Ten Years. wink

To all the EC.com-ers...

You All are a great group. A few nuts kept hidden in the attic that are allowed to come out and shake off the dust when we get too comfortable. This is a Great Site heartpump

This website has been the life blood that we couldn't manage without. Like Angloberry, before I discovered EC.com, it was really difficult to find out anything about Eric, and my life was spent mentioning Eric's name at every opportunity to make sure everyone had heard of him or find out any news. Now, thanks to this top banana website, not only have I met Eric ~ something I NEVER would have believed would ever happen ~ but have seen Raspberries gigs and met them, too! The music has been such a major part of my life, through good times (we had the organist play All By Myself at our wedding for example), and unbearable times. Now, thanks to Bernie's dedication we have more than we could ever dream of and even a new CD/DVD to look forward to as a result.

Congratulations and thank you, Eric and Bernie on the love, dedication and effect you have brought to our lives.

This was one amazing site before Eric got on board and became personally involved and now it has truly become the ULTIMATE site for any fan of Eric or the Raspberries. Bernie, year after year, has done things that persuade you to come back for more....time and time again.

I was nervous about flying out to Cleveland, on my own for that first reunion show. I didn't know what to expect...I had a fear that some wacko would befriend me and then do who knows what to me (ok, so I was a little paranoid), but after meeting a few people, I realized that this was a pretty "safe" group.

I love this site, I love Eric's music and I'm pretty darn fond of many of you wacko's...

Thank you so much Bernie for all of the love and the time you have put into this amazing web site these many years! You certainly have been "Making It Easy" for those of us Eric Carmen & Raspberries' fans to keep updated on the 'berry best information available on the greatest influence in the world of music. Additionally, my deepest appreciation to Eric Carmen, who has entertained & influenced many of us with his musical poetry for over thirty five years...which has resulted in so many precious & magical memories!

Its a great site, theres been alot of interesting fun and great discussions over the past years. Visually, the site is a gem. Having Eric participate has been really cool for people. I think we need to still think about banning Canadians but, apart from that, the site is perfect. Bernie is a great host. It's like entering an electronic dinner party. Its a credit to the people involved that such a wide range of topics can be discussed from Tommy Tunes issues with lingerie to questions about Al Gore being the Anti-Christ. Its a wonderful site, and lets not forget dedicated to helluva musician.

I'll never forget the thrill of finding this website over 9 years ago. I didn't even know how to use the computer but I learned so I could make my way here daily.

Eric your voice got to me the very first time I heard it, you have a true gift. I enjoy listening to your songs many times over and over. Thank you so much you really helped me out of some pretty tough jams.

Congratulations on this wonderful milestone. I am very optimistic that good things will happen next year. I am looking forward to seeing Raspberries and all of my friends again.

Bernie I could never say enough to you, you're awesome! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Awesome website for an awesome talent! The same words I expressed 10 yrs ago, still hold true. I am so thankful for this website to share feelings with others who share an understanding of the msuic of Eric Carmen. It's also wonderful to know no matter what...we are all in this together. YES, we hope the music will continue and evolve, but yet, we do understand when circumstances may postpone a new CD or tour.

Eric, I'm sure you know words cannot express our feelings adequately...even though we try. You have brought so much to us through your music. Some of us it brought joy, happiness, and others it helped us get through some rough spots.

All of us thank you over and over...

We just hope that the music continues because we all know there is much more talent inside you...and like a fine wine...it only gets better.

THANKS...Robin Moore Suffolk, VA

I look forward to sharing all of the great things to come with you. I can't wait to read the first comments when you get your CD's. Next week I'll be meeting with Jim and Wally ( and Dave by phone ) to discuss further plans for the band. Whatever transpires, I promise you'll be the first to know. It's been a great decade. Thanks again for all your encouragement. And to Bernie, who has done so much more than you'll ever know—a very, special thank you for everything, but most of all, for your friendship. You are truly the best.

So Eric, ol' buddy ol' pal, what transpired from your meeting with "the guys?" laugh

When I bought my first PC 5 years ago, one of the first things I searched for was any info on Eric, and his whereabouts. imagine my surprise when I 'stumbled" onto this site. Since then, I've had the pleasure of seeing the band, and meeting a few of you at the Chicago show. I wish more of my favorite artists would take the time, to interact with his fans like you do Eric. I'd also like to thank Bernie for all his hard work, and a couple of things he's done for me over the last couple of years. His generosity is overwhelming, and greatly appreiciated.

Eric Carmen is still #1 on the charts, as far as this crowd is concerned! happy

I just love the interaction between all the fans (friends) of Eric and himself. What a nice, close little world we have. What would we do without the internet?

Thanks to Eric, Bernie, and all the friends of this site.

Looking forward to the next 10! smile

eric - so how'd those conversations w/ the rest of the 'berries go? i've said it before & i'll say it again: "get thee to austin texas, live music capitol of the world!" heck, i'll even get your booking folks off to a perusable start: 500-1500 capacity clubs to book the 'berries at here in austin: antones, stubbs, the backyard, austin music hall, la zona rosa (i'll be playing there next week). i'll even put y'all in touch w/ the folks who book these places if you'll just saddle up your horses & head to texas! ;-)

Heyyyyy. I resemble that remark!!!

You can't ban us - you'd lose the wit and wisdom of a country with at least 10 people - who are all thawed out at this time of year. Don't make me take the trek to Wisconsin and start lookin' for ya!

No, no, no!  I found this thread. Please, I agree with the above member. "Love they neighbor... " Remember, these two North American countries depend upon one another for love, crisis support, musical education and friendship, and getting to know people from several nations.

The mention about banning us was a joke I'm sure. Rolling on the floor laughing my head off! Canadians have a sense of humor.

Now it's 2017, and you 'mericans have 35 million neighbours, and more than 10 members on the board.
